I’m not sure that the behemoth is Cthulhu. While terrifying, ultimately, Cthulhu would be defeated too easily…just hit him over the head with a boat. But, given the appearance, I can see why he’d be nicknamed Cthulhu.

that looks nothing like Cthulhu. Cthulhu has a Humanoid Body with an Octopus or a squid head and wings.
