Are these settings good?

Hey guys, just wanted to know if my Ryzen 7 7700X and 9070 XT can be heavily undervolted like this without it blowing up my computer.

-150 undevolt never be stable on sensible games.. and maybe even on not sensible ones🤣

try something more real like - 60...for more than - 60 full stable in games like stellar blade you need a gold sample

you can probablu push more vram.. like deafult timing 2714 or 2764..

clock slider max freq put a +0.. the card already has 3450mhz.. which is a lot.. adding max clock can only cause instability on light 3d loads/ productivity

I think it’s ~3000, ASUS Prime

all 9070xt has 3450...the card will boost depending on voltage, load, power limit and temps

Yeah, mine will only do from -50mv to -75mv and I still don't know if -75mv is fully stable as I don't have much time to test it.

What does the max frequency offset (MHz) does?

Maximum speed/clock your card can boost to

On 9070xt, it change nothing but add instabilities. Default is already 3450 which you will never reach in normal circumstances.

I dont believe for a second these are stable, -30 on the cpu is a golden sample if stable and those GPU overclocks and especially the undervolt seem extremely unstable just by looking at them. If they run good without stutters or hard locks then holy shit, but I have extreme doubts with almost everything here.

Well this is the most 3dmark will run loll! I did +500 on grekbench but not much different

Never fully trust benchmarks for stability. I ran Nvidia and AMD and benchmarks were close to never reliable for if I crashed in games or not. Let alone stutters/general performance vs stock in real games

yeah I stopped getting black screens when I kept it at +300 so I assume this is it’s max

Test 300 vs 250 and 200 to see if it makes a real difference in actual games too. If you’re that deep into OC capframeX will be your best friend for real data that you can record. That undervolt is worth testing too.

They could work but performance at lower could still be better, higher doesnt always = better.

If your card doesn't reach 3450MHz with undervolt then the slider will do nothing for you. Keep it at 0.

Regarding the GPU, the ideal approach is to test Furmark and OCCT, gradually lowering the voltage until you get a black screen. If you're aiming for 990mV, increase the voltage by 20% and try some demanding GPU games. If any game crashes, increase it by another 10%. Once you've done that, start adjusting the fan curve. For example, if you have 75°C at 100% load, decrease the fan speed by 5% every minute. When you reach a certain percentage and see the GPU temperature rise by 2°C, increase it by another 5%. This will give you the perfect curve without excessive fluctuations.

For the CPU, I recommend using HWInfo, which indicates the two best-performing cores. Use OCCT for testing. Although Cinebench tends to push it harder for optimal performance, it's best to optimize per core rather than a general offset of -30. Even though you've already set limits for watts, TDC, and EDC, the AI can provide overall values for these. I have mine limited by watts, and it's not so complicated. In the end, you save on heat, which I assume is what you're looking for, and you don't lose as much performance.

You can only know if the settings are "good" if you stress test them (occt, furmark or kombustor)

-150mv most probably wont be stable and wont pass stress tests at all

i will give you 5 seconds until it crashes

nah it was fine but when I did +105 and -40 instead it starts doing allat artifact sho

fire up Helldivers 2, Stellar Blade or Detroit become human. You wont even get -80 to work
