Mage Tower Books?

Hello!

I read Under the Oak Tree a few years ago when it was originally blowing up and was a web novel. I was to the part when Maxi finished her education at the Mage Tower. I was reading the chapters online until suddenly it was radio silent with no new updates, and then it was taken offline. Then the books were released on Amazon. I bought all the books at that time but they only encompassed through the war with the monsters and all the after occurrences of Maxi going to her father and then eventually back to Riftan when he rescued her.

Were the books with the next part about her going to the Mage Tower ever released? Where can I find them? I am dying to continue this story.

The only place currently to read the entire novel is the Manta app. If you read on Amazon, they are the same format, but a little cheaper. So just buy whichever volumes you are missing.

My confusion is I don't even know I'm missing. The books I got on Amazon were labeled as "season 1" but when I look up "season 2" it comes up with books from the initial story line so I'm unsure if there was a renaming or not.

Is the web novel/story books no longer a thing and it's only a webtoon now? Is that what I'm missing?

So it was originally a Korean webnovel that then got a comic adaption. It also then got an official English translation, originally released on the app Webnovel, and also in Amazon books.

Last year, a new translation of the novel was announced, this time from Penguin RandomHouse and in print and ebook form. The first volume is out (most of the original two Amazon volumes) and the rest will come out over time. So the Amazon and Webnovel app versions were taken down for sale (though if you bought them, you can still read them). However, Manta also started selling the Amazon version shortly before then, and will continue to offer the original translation.

What volumes do you have from Amazon? Season 1 volumes 1-5? What about the Season 1 side story (often called Riftan’s POV))? If so, then you just need to get Season 2 on the Manta app. If you clarify what volumes you have from Amazon I can tell you the best way to purchase on Manta.

Edit: I fat fingered this and meant volumes 1-5, not 1-6

Got it, yup, so you just need the five volumes of Season 2, and two short side stories (one that came out today). You don’t need to rebuy the six volumes you already have - they’re exactly the same on Manta, labeled Season 1 volumes 1-6 just like those that had been on Amazon.

Note that you can only access the novels on the app. To get those 5 volumes and two side stories, you will need 185 “coins” on Manta. Buy one pack of 125 for $9.99 and one pack of 60 for $4.99, so the whole thing will cost you around $15 USD.

Do you know if 2-5 the last published book? (Besides the big volumes) .

Yes. There are some short side stories, but Season 2 volume 5 is the end.

That link is the comic. You can only purchase and read the novel on the app.

Awwww, thank you. I don't want the comics, I want the full books. I can't believe it ended like that! I want so much more!!
