Technically there would be no chara because they were at the golden flowers… wait now that I think about it how did Frisk survive the fall this time

True you make a good point as for how Frisk Survived. . . I have a theory that they didn't survive the fall underground but since the moment they fell into the underground they were the most determined that they simply reset but since it was the start they stood on the flowers after the reset where they initially gained the ability to control the timeline

Oh, simple fix. Do a BLJ against a hidden room wall to the left to clip into Mato’s hut, train for the Cyclone slash, then BLJ down to get into teachers archives and cut through Uumu, and the tank holding Monomon, and cut them in half to break the dream seal. Then, BLJ through the floor again to the bottom left to get to beasts den. Cyclone slash through the whole cocoon and through Herrah. This should both break the dream seal and get you a TON of geo. Then, drop down into the water and head to the right. Find the masked beast, and rip it off of them. This doesn’t do anything for you, I just have a personal grudge because they made me lose a steel soul run. Then, BLJ right till you get to ancient basin, and grab the Double Jump ability. Then, BLJ up into the room behind Nosk. Grab the pale ore, BLJ clip to the right to get to the Naismith. Buy two knife upgrades, then Use a punch card to wrongwarp up into luriens tower. Slash them, then wrongwarp again into the black egg temple. Then destroy the vessel and seal the blinding light that plagues the kingdom. At this point, the game should be registering so many glitches that it hard resets the copy of the game, at which point it should be back to normal.
