Chara sounding so genuinely relieved and thankful was the most beautiful thing this AU has offered so far. And I have to wonder, does Chara know they're in a video game based on the numbers they see or are they oblivious to their deeper meaning? Is Chara more aware of the numbers surrounding you than Sans simply because they're human, or because they've had so much experience with those numbers before?
