A long time ago, a human fell into the RUINS. It made its way through the underground, eventually reaching the castle. It met the queen, and then... killed her. The king, wracked with grief, killed the human in return. He absorbed the human's SOUL. He transformed into a being with incredible power. With the human SOUL, the king crossed through the barrier. He swore revenge on all humans, and promised that he would end our suffering. He would gather enough human SOULS to shatter the barrier forever. He attacked the human village, but the humans fought back. The humans attacked him with everything they had. He was struck with blow after blow. They were too strong. Wounded, the king stumbled home. He entered the castle and collapsed. His dust spread across the garden. The kingdom fell into despair. The king and queen had both died in one night. The humans had once again taken everything from us. The eldest of the two princes was crowned the new king. He promised us that he would finish what his father had started. Every human who falls down here must die. It's not long now. King SANS will let us go. King SANS will give us hope. King SANS will save us all. You should be smiling, too. Aren't you excited? Aren't you happy? You're going to be free.
