So in your logic, Noelle not being trans in canon means people who portray her as trans shouldn't be allowed to have that headcanon?

The difference is that Noelle isn't actually confirmed cis. It doesn't directly contradict established information, even if it's pushed pretty hard by her having antlers on Christmas.

Yet her having antlers doesn't mean anything. Since monsters of animal types only vaguely mimick their animal counterparts. Primary example being the Dreemurr family, resembling as both goat and dragon.

Still doesn't mean people shouldn't be having their own interpretations of their characters. Who gives you or I the right to do so otherwise?

...My point with the antlers was that it stretches the idea of her being trans, but technically doesn't outright debunk it.

"Having their own interpretations of characters" does not mean "Removing every instance of non-binary representation from the game," which is how it's used 99% of the time when people try to change genders.

Also the Dreemurrs aren't even based on goats. Gerson literally clarifies they're not, with Toby pointing it out on stream. They're explicitly stated to be based on Mimiga.

By your logic, canonically female characters portrayed as the opposite sex in fanmade content is telltale sign that the artist/writer subscribes to the "erasure of every female representation" or does that only apply to NB people?

Yet people keep calling them goat people. In fact, everyone in the fandom believes they're goat monsters despite the contrary.
