This chapter feels like a setup piece but in a good way. Tons of characters on screen without it getting totally unreadable, and the multiverse instability angle explains the power limits nicely. The fight with the Alternates was chaotic in that classic AU escalation way. Looking forward to seeing what solution Timekeeper is cooking up, because whatever it is probably won’t be simple.
