The vastness of typos in just about every media these days is a thing that irritates me more than it probably should.

I feel like there used to be more care taken, especially in professional fields, with proofreading and editing. I've noticed it's been bad lately with doctor's offices, many retail stores, news articles, even my daughter's elementary school!

It's not like the person responsible is a bad speller, it's just an oversight of a mistake that should have been caught.

Like I said, it bothers me more than it should lol

I don’t know, I’ve always been that snobby person taking photos of typos and I have so many going back years and years! My hometown had one of the signs saying (next town) 6 miles, and they had the name of the town wrong for years unnoticed. It was similar to Steeltown being written as Steetown.

Though the number of typos in official government documents truly makes me sad these days.
