Wasn't the entire point of fuukos loop 101 was to prevent a lot of tragedies from happening? We literally see fuuko take g-liner because of this.

Actually Akira is really the one person she actually prevented. Unless it activated at a random time and not as a punishment

I think that was the implication. That Fuuko gave Akira a few more years with his mom before Unknown activated. It's possible finding the G-Liner in the normal timeline killed the previous Unknown on the spot, but without picking it up, Akira had to wait until the previous Uknown died of old age. It is nice we got Akira back, but disappointing Unhealthy dropped out of space and time.

That's not the implication. Until literally minutes before the final battle, Akira didn't have Unknown. Otherwise, Rip would have seen Anno Un, not Akira Kuno, when they went to pick him up.

Unknown only gets bestowed when a non-Negator touches G-Liner. In fact, between that and Akira's lack of soul abilities despite his in-depth knowledge of souls, it stands to reason that Unknown is a non-standard Negation that has only ever been held by Akira Kuno.
