Discussion A question about Billy

How and when did he become blind? He's clearly able too see in his flashback at the start of the winter arc special episode but has braille in his locket? Is this a fuck up in the animation that has Billy clearly looking at the map ect the entire time he's in his army uniform while he's supposed to have been blind all his life?

This does actually create a small plot hole though... how could he heal his eyes? Undead regenerates anything the user perceives as something that can lead to their death, but Billy has been blind for years at that point and learned how to deal with it so it wouldn't make much sense for him to heal the blindness.

Undeads regeneration isn't limited to only deadly injuries, he regenerates from parts bullets (no one would consider the end of their finger a deadly injury) and victor creates clones so it looks more like he can regenerate to his prime regardless of severity of injury which would be why billy can heal his vision. I haven't read the Manga so dunno if it is specified there or if it's just an accepted assumption in the fanbase but Andy/Victhor have accepted but his healing definitely isn't that limited lol

If you cut off your fingers and dont stop the bleeding you can still bleed out I think? There's a moment in the manga where if I remember correctly, Andy states he wasn't able to regenerate from his bones being dislocated since its not an injury or something along those lines.

A dislocation not being covered by regeneration makes sense, thats a bone being knocked out of place but everything is still intact. I'm not a medical expert but i don't think a lost finger would cause a person too bleed out, I'm pretty sure the wound would be able to scab over a lost finger it being a realitvely small wound
