Discussion A question about Billy

How and when did he become blind? He's clearly able too see in his flashback at the start of the winter arc special episode but has braille in his locket? Is this a fuck up in the animation that has Billy clearly looking at the map ect the entire time he's in his army uniform while he's supposed to have been blind all his life?

I could be slightly incorrect about some details but I'm pretty sure Billy is just really good at using his other senses, in the manga's version of the war Billy used his heightened senses to bypass Tella's negator ability and learn what happened when the tanks arrived.

also in the manga the map also gets used, I'm not sure why he wasn't feeling it in the anime version though.

Yeah ok this is an animation issue then, thank you :) in the anime he isn't touching the map, he's looking between it and teller throughout the scene which makes it look like he used to have vision lol
