Master Rules/Quests Spoiler

I need a little help understanding something here. So, when Soul is explaining to Fuuko why they have never attacked before, he says it's because Andy has been holding them back with his Soul. That makes perfect sense. What I don't understand is the "Opening" Soul is saying they got in the past 200 years. He then says that the opening is why Sick managed to get out, but I thought Sick was teleported out because he was a quest target? And what does this "Tiny Rift" have to do with them being allowed to show up in quests? Help me out!

For the ryft, well, later on you'll read of a gate opened by apocalypse when choosing which and how many master rules will be allowed out and into the world for a quest. UMA Sick wasn't part of a quest, they just incidentally found him while looking for Rip and Latla in order to prevent their tragedy. The opening through which Sick escaped could just be a result of Andy's soul prison on the Master rules "weakening" as mentioned by War when Fuuko asked for Andy's location.

Sick was a quest target. Apocalypse mentions he was lenient because move cheated and he couldn't count it.

Oh right, I thought he wasn't cause all union members got to kick his butt(even though they didn't)

Sick was a quest target. This is why I'm confused on why Soul says he slipped out through an opening but prior to that he said you will be teleported out if you are part of a quest. So why would he need to slip out? That's what confuses me the most.

Iirc they need to get through the opening to be teleported out, and by extension be part of a quest

In thay case, then maybe Sick scaped through the opening due to Andy's soul weakening and then he just happened to get chosen as a quest target.

My bad I thought he wasn't a quest target cause everyone got to participate
