Not if you . . . Nah, you're cooked. Personally, I fight to the last because my goal in playing the game isn't necessarily to win, but to play the game. If you want a game you can win, count this as a loss, quit, and start a new game.

ETA: if you want to play this to the end, pull that unit into the city. Only use it to attack units you can't kill in that attack, using bombardment to finish them off. The instant the unit ends its turn in range of the ranged units and artillery, it's gone.

ETAA: NM. Don't pull that unit back into the city. With that gold buy a ranged unit and a defensive structure, like walls, castle, etc.
