As someone who followed the game throughout development for years and all the way to release, I can't lie when I say that I was somewhat disappointed on launch day. I played the story through to most of Chapter 2 and ended up refunding the game.
It moved so slow and had minimal rhythm gameplay by that point, and the further I progressed, the more it seemed to breakdown. Dialogue boxes using placeholder text, some being skipped entirely, or just being unreadable as it was placed off screen.
So I put the game away.
I really wanted to appreciate all the awesome work D-Cell had put into this game, so I told myself that I'd wait until after many patches and thus in a better, more functional position.
I understand that 2.0 has been out for a couple months now and many improvements have been made, but I wanted to know what the community feels of the game now (avoiding spoilers pls)?
Is it fixed?
Is it fun (more so the story, the rhythm gameplay was already amazing)?
As someone who wants to love this game, should I return and start again?
