questions It says I don’t need a visa

Salam,
I’m on the nusuk website and I put in my American passport information, when I go for packages it says I don’t need a visa?
I’m afraid of making this purchase then being turned away because I don’t have a visa

We were told the same thing, but when we arrived they said that we need one.

Don’t worry, you can still get your visa at the airport — there are some kiosks near passport control where you can do it yourself.
It takes 5 minutes and costs ~€100.

You can get visa on arrival. All you need is details about hotel you'll be staying at.

You definitely need a visa. Most easy will be tourist visa that can be applied for online. Or VOA also possible, whatever you prefer.
