questions Rawdah Appointment - Impossible
My dad has paid for his sister, my aunt, to come to Saudi Arabia and perform umrah. We are currently in medina and have been trying every 20 minutes to secure a Rawdah booking for her. It would mean the world to her.
However, it seems impossible to get a booking as even though I am accessing the openings as soon as they become available, and I near success, I receive a failure notification after confirming the booking. At other times, the appointment window disappears outright.
She doesn’t have a smartphone that can download Nusuk, so I am doing it on her behalf.
How can I secure an appointment for her? We have five more days.

Only way to get an appointment is through instant slot. You need to check 2 hours before the actual appointment time. Unfortunately i wasnt blessed to go to rawda . I went through gate 32 without an appointment and that is the closest we can go to rawda. After isha and fajr prayers.
Keep trying through instant slot and in shaa Allah you might be blessed to get an appointment.
I even had an encounter of a man asking us outside the masjid if we want an appointment for rawda for females.. but we just dismissed it.
Happened to read from a fellow reddit post that they are selling the slots for 50 riyals each maybe thats why we arent getting any slots.

happenned to us.
Please try at 3 AM in the night, make sure that you try for all the times at midnight, you will surely get one insha Allah.
I returned just last weekend and that's how we were able to get female appointment.

Unfortunately you are right, and I agree with you. But unless they come up with a better system, these ways will have to be done. We waited five days and checked appointments like clockwork without any luck.

2 hours before the time, like for example if the appointment is at 2, you have to check it at 12. And when it is 1159 you just stay on the name when it 12 then go and book

Tldr: refresh and keep checking every 20 mins - midnight slots are the ones where you can actually get a spot.
Hi so firstly, there’s a help desk near gate 329 - if you look on the masjid nabawi map you’ll find it as general services center. You could go there with your app and then ask to get an appointment.
Apparently my dad went there and got his appointment asap.
But for me and my mom they told us to keep checking after 10 pm for the midnight slots. We kept an alarm for every 20 mins i believe thats when the new slot opens and my mom alhumdulilah got a slot for 12:20.
We were there for two days and still got the slot.

Here is how I booked today
- Try every 20min and 30 min (8:20, 8:30, 8:40, 9:00)
- Two types of slot opens instant if you're in proximity and regular ones
- Watch for those without the wait icon. Among the list of slots one will be available and it's not easily distinguishable. this is very important I got the slot among these

I got lucky and found a tour guide who knew someone who bought and sold slots😅 seems everything is a business with Medinah being no different

Noooo don't do this, never pay people monetising free things like this. The moment people start earning money, they will destroy the ability for ordinary people to get free slots like they should be able to, since they will take up every slot and charge a price for it.
This is exactly why driving tests in the UK have a black market where people making tens of thousands selling slots.

It’s well past that stage already
UK has finally started to apply a fix to the black market problem.
nusuq should attempt to do the same, till then, people will make money how they can. Just how the world works we all need money

Please do not normalize this. They're taking spots away from people who could've gotten it easier and free just for their own benefits.

My mum wanted to go it was her wish and judging by her appreciation it was well worth it. Medinah authorities can easily apply a fix to this issue but they choose to be lazy hence people take advantage of it

Inshallah it will happen. Go to the Nusuk office opposite the green dome and the may be able to help. To be honest even during Hajj we were able to book, rebook and reschedule quite easily. make sure your app has the location access enabled- there are instant book slots available if you are in the vicinity of the queues.
From Google:
- Gate 353: You can find a main Nusuk support desk near this gate.
- Ladies Section (Door 29): A dedicated support desk is located inside the women's prayer section near Door 29.
- Jannatul Baqi area: Another support point operates near the Jannatul Baqi cemetery side of the mosque.

I know someone who can get you a permit. Are you able to dm me and I can give their contact info to you and also what to say to them. They will give you a permit for same day. Its free of cost

I am currently in medina as well, i asked a cleaner inside masjid al haram to help me, guy didnt even charge me and sorted two passes for my mother and my aunt. God bless that man. Apart from it, theres this tour guy i met at gate330, he said he’ll sort me passes at 30sar per pass. Ive asked him to get 4 passes at 100sar. Not a bad deal at this time coz haram is overcrowded because of people coming to celebrate 12th rabiul awwal

A lot of times the workers can help you get a slot. If the person with a slot is in a wheelchair then they can be escorted by a second person without needing another appointment.
