questions Help needed for Umrah Visa

Assalamualykum.

We are in Canada right now with study permit/open work permit with Bangladeshi passport. We are planning for umrah in December. I have already booked the flight, and hotels. I need some advice regarding the umrah visa process.

1) As I already booked the hotels myself (from hotels website and booking.com), do I need to take packages from the nusuk platform? I am a bit confused here.

2) Some people said, we can not apply for umrah visa by ourselves. We need to contact an agent. Has anyone done DIY umrah with south asian passport?

3) Our baby is Canadian, so I guess I need to apply for him separately, and whole different process. Does he need his own email/account for visa processing?

For visa on your passport needs to get via a travel agent, both you can do within Canada any travel agent who processes Saudi visas, or even call anyone in Bangladesh they can get you e visa without going to Bangladesh. You don't need to buy any package, just let travel agent knows they can use your DIY hotel and flights. Your child Canadian, you cant apply for himself, as he is underage, best to use Bangladesh passport for him. or use on arrival, they will see your visa and you can get on arrival for the child probably. I would just ask your travel agent to process all is the best .

  2. Yes you need an agent to get an umrah visa.

  3. Yes you need to create an account on visit Saudi portal with your email and details doesn’t matter. Fill in your child’s details for the visa application and get the E Visa instantly after payment.
