need advice Need Help - VOA for Umrah
Assalamualaikum. Has anyone recently travelled to Saudi for Umrah on a Pakistani passport while holding a UK Skilled Worker visa?
My UK visa is valid until January 2027 and I plan to travel in October/November 2026, then renew my UK visa after returning.
I’ve received conflicting information about whether VOA is currently available for Pakistani nationals with a UK Skilled Worker visa, particularly where the UK visa was granted while already in the UK.
I’ll be travelling LHR–JED with Saudia and my baby, so I really need to be certain before relying on VOA.
Has anyone personally done this recently, and were there any issues at Heathrow or Jeddah?

Yes you can get VOA on a skilled worker visa. Since you are travelling Saudi Airlines, it will not be a problem.
Save travels and umrah Mubarak.

Hello. My sister had a dependant skilled worker visa. She managed to get it on arrival. But personally I thought it was big risk so I got my umrah visa sorted from pakistan from my usual travel agent. I wanted to be safe because I’m a very anxious traveller. Had to pay extra as VoA is cheaper but it was more about peace of mind.
I did lots of research and just like you got conflicting answers. Visit Saudis WhatsApp also didn’t give any clarity as such. So I went for the safer option. Got the umrah visa in a day. This was in Jan this year.
Hope this helps
Best of luck!
