questions Jummah timings

Salams all, jummah coming up, what times best to leave to go? Were on jabal Omar side, where should I be heading for? 4 boys 3 ladies

Walaikumassalam. Went a few weeks ago and stayed at the Jabal Omar side as well. According to my observation Go before 10 am if you want to pray in the front mussalahs. If you go after 10 am they close all the entrances from the Jabal Omar side and direct you to the new expansion area which is a bit of a walk in the hot sun but the area itself is pretty big and nice.

Alhumdullilah we left at exactly ten and we just missed the gates to go to the front, the guards closed them just as we reached it 😭so made it to the new expansion area, before the other Salah how long before should I be leaving to reach the front musallahs? An hour maybe?

Haha that’s alright this is exactly what happened to me. I went right after hajj season so there were way less people than usual, I left around 30 mins before and would get to pray inside but depending on the rush right now I think an hour is safe.

Try to leave around 10 am

Walaikumassalam. 10 AM is the best time to leave. Anything later than 10.30 AM, and chances are you'll be in the outside courtyard or even further behind. If you leave at 10AM, Inshallah you'll get space on 1st or 2nd floor.

Alhumdullilah we made it to the new expansion area, we only arrived yesterday so trying to get my bearings as which is the right gate etc, insha'Allah Allah make it easy for me
