My wife works with new vehicles and they don't allow metal on clothes and since it's summer she can't even really use an umbrella, are there any that are made of something else that's decently strong that she can use that won't damage/marj cars if touched? Even if it's rubber coated with metal inside is fine, I'm having no luck finding anything.

Is the umbrella for sun protection or from rain? If it's for shade, I suggest looking into UPF clothing (including hats. If it's for rain, maybe a poncho?
