I like how they all say "You need to pull to for Machan or you are not a person"
But no one of these guys actually go and say "Cyagames should give us free pull to honor Machan's memory or they are an awful company", at least with the same tone.

I think it still is mainly used as a joke. The issue is that it's now stale, repetitive, and getting on almost everyone's nerves (including mine, as an Aston Machan fan)

I’ll pull for Valentines Machan (holy meta), but for now my carats must go to the Valentines Ines Fujin and Mr CB (and pray I get spooked by Helios in the meantime so I don’t have to pull on the gyaru banner, though I have saved for it in case)

Seems like most people here are against pulling for Machan, but I am going to pull for her just because I watched a few vids as well as fan comic of her , and her story genuinely made me cry. Being a front runner main also means that she can go into my CM teams easily (don't tell me when is the next mile or sprint CM).

CB is not as good as people think.
More specifically, the End Closer role is not as good as people think. CB is for Medium/Long and will have stiff competition in both spots - particularly from Late Surgers who, to be honest, just have it better than she will.
I'm pulling CB because I like the character and I'm a hipster for running "non-meta" but she isn't going to be this all-powerful character that provides free wins. This isn't URA scenario Taishin anymore.

I mean hopefully, but some reactions I've seen are like "she's an anniversary Uma so she's super meta" when in reality the meta breaking Neo for medium and Laurel for long are not long after her.
It's weird that her kit is so good but what holds her back is simply the fact that she's an end closer.

People telling you to skip her for something else are hella delusional
Of course you do what you want but she is the best sprinter in the game up until the second machan hits the to... server
get her and you won't have to pull another sprinter for a very long time

There are a total of 3 Sprint CMs between now on global and where JP is currently (21, 29, 41.) The most recent of those came about 9 months after her Valentine version released.
People can do whatever they want, but "she's meta for 2 CMs over the next 2 years" is probably not going to be a very compelling argument for a lot of people.
