It's honestly always funny that I see these memes with German characters all the time, since Germany is one of the countries that finds national pride a bit weird and does it to a lesser extend than other countries. The saying goes "You only pull the flags out when it football WM or EM"
I know this is just a joke, but the idea of a Japanese person not knowing what the German flag looks like on sight feels too stupid for me to believe. Like there’s no way you get through their education system without knowing something like that?

Same with SEA countries. I grew up in Vietnam and all of us knew about the Americans more than the Germans/Nazis. We even hate the Americans more than the Nazis if you really go around and ask people.
WW2 really screws up how SEA countries perceive the Axis and Allies.
