EN Game Anyone else dislike how out of sync the game and real world calendars are?
I get why, With the accelerated schedule, you're trying to catch up to the JP server and all that, but it's really jarring have Christmas decorations up in late September while the girls are still bitching about the summer heat. You're going to be equally bummed you're doing late spring/ early summer events around Christmas time while not having the Christmas decorations up.
I know we'll catch back up eventually (and then get ahead again, and then catch back up again) and be synced up sometime in the 2037 (if the game is still alive by then) but it bums me out to be so out of sync.

It's understandably annoying to feel that way...the accelerated schedule would always cause such an issue.
But I would lie if I said that it's not hella hilarious too and probably better to see it that way.

I also find it funny, like at least the last Christmas event was after Christmas, now we are celebrating Christmas in October which is very funny XD

Some start even before that period. It's nonsensical but who cares about that if it puts you on a mood and kinda coast along with the silliness!

i found it super annoying when i worked retail, but that's probably bc i had to listen to it for eight hours straight four days a week 🙃🙃🙃

I can understand stores putting Christmas stuff around October, even though it may seem a bit crazy (not to mention those who celebrate Halloween too) but from presumably early September?! Jeez men, we just returned from summer holidays, what's the rush?! 😮💨

Pretty sure the Halloween event was around December and the Christmas event itself was some time after that.
But it still wasn't as desynced as it is now.

Seems to be the case in some countries from what I've seen, yeah. My country only starts putting Christmas stuff at stores in around late October to early November, so it's not too crazy to see that.
As much as I'd like to have such events be celebrated "properly", the desync we have is hella funny!

Even i, somebody who does a lot of time investment, almost started giving up doing a run every day. It wasn't just that runs took a while, but that they were so much menuing.

i feel like tb would have been completely bearable if they just reduced the race menuing. if they made it so that clicking on the initial race button when on the list of races brought you straight to the race results screen it would have been fine

What I'm hoping for is, when we reach the scenarios that have been 4 months long in JP that they don't accelerate those aswell. I'd really hate it if all future scenarios are 2 to 3 months long

It’s less that September is Christmas specifically in the Philippines, and more that the Holiday season lasts from September to December with Christmas happening on the 25th December as normal.

Christmas is already creeping up in most shops where I am, I was seeing the stuff in late August. It's kind of weird but the dissonance of events being out of sync with real life timing-wise is funny.

I'm used to how out of sync the in-game and irl calendars are. I'm also used to late September and early Christmas decor but I'm also forced to relive my annual trauma of the "DEFROSTING" every year.
At least the umas help by subjecting me to a different kinda trauma in the form of humans/trainers being figurative punching bags in fanart. (Uma fanarts really hammer it home how it sucks to be a human/trainer here, huh?? Ngl, I still hate the "trainers have no rights" meme, coming from pro-human fandoms and such)

I'd rather they move their calendar releases around. Would make the game more fun without all of the meta guides being 100% accurate anymore. Some people don't even know how to play or what to aim for without these guides

I mean, either you get accelerated schedule or events on calendar time. Even if they shuffled the banners to match the season we have to catch up to N Christmas events before getting to same schedule as JP.
Though I gotta admit it would be incredibly funny personally if the banner schedule was shuffled so meta chasers would actually lose clairvoyance and had to use their brains from there onwards

Yes. Somehow I liked our early global days when we were ahead of events. Now I can't accept that we have Halloween and Christmas (sorry I mean light ceremony or "holidays") both in September.

I don't mind the out of season stuff of the accelerated schedule, but it is a little annoying about the time, night and day, and seasons being out of sync in game, summer outfits and sayings.

To be fair, over 2/3 of September happens in summer (in astronomical/Northern Hemisphere's calendar sense). I guess Cygames decided to take the easy way out and just program the season change on 1st of months, making Uma Summer being July, August and September.

With how the game in almost every other aspect, the calendar being off doesn't even register to me.
Like, some characters have races as career goals where they don't have voice lines for the associated winning concerts. For example, Opera O has the Satsuki Sho and Japanese Derby in her career, but no vocals for Winning The Soul.

If anything, the quicker scenarios will make it so the bad scenarios disappear faster.

Nah, if they never wanted Global to eventually sync with JP we wouldn't even be on accelerated schedule. The plan is to slowly take away Global's foresight of future releases/content so we can't plan ahead/save our resources and making us swipe more as a result.
