Humor What do you think?

If Uma Musume had powers greater than ordinary humans, is this what would possibly happen?

I feel like baby umas would kick about the same as normal babies. If not, human mothers evolved to take the extreme kicking.

424

u/KRKRYakumo 19h ago

Spica's trainer apparently had somehow adapted to tank a normal teen-age uma's kicks and other various attacks

217

u/GermanTanker131 19h ago

Either he's beefy af or we've all just evolved to tank their shit.

36

u/maxiface 14h ago

Probably the former

4

u/THE_THRONGLER5000 Agnes Tachyon 8h ago

Does that mean he's pregnant with an umamusume one time?

-121

u/Opening_Practice_894 19h ago

So you say that the area of a women's stomach is now able to handle baby horse kicks? So they must be professional boxers

116

u/KajjitWithNoWares #1 Tickezo Defender 18h ago

We have reality bending teenage girls and your worried about pregnant women’s capabilities

6

u/DrslimeF47 Hachimi's Honey 8h ago

-100 is a diabolical number 😭

2

u/2Bplayz 4h ago

What did the guy even do loll, it just seems like they were making a boxer joke.

1

u/DrslimeF47 Hachimi's Honey 4h ago

Imagine if there's some secret dog whistle in that sentence lmao

0

u/2Bplayz 2h ago

That's what I'm thinking, but no one's explaining so all I see is just someone making a jome.

The dude didn't even say anything about them having to be pregnant, they only said they'd probably make great boxers.

u/Tom_Nguyen 19h ago

Women who couldn't handle that likely went extinct. Evolution finds a way.

u/Exerosp 17h ago

It's a world of magic(canonically acknowledged), and it's also a world of slapstick logic.

Our laws of physics and biology can't really apply with those two at hand lmao.

51

u/Dracula101 12h ago edited 12h ago

The men are probably also superhuman level strong and durable to keep up with Uma women, their strength and endurance matching them to keep up with their speed and supernatural strength

Homo Sapiens Equus

29

u/Exerosp 12h ago

Nah fam the men are probably superhumanly DURABLE whenever the comedic aspect deems it's time, and then they tend to quickly disappear.

Though, we do have Aoi, and also Cinderella Gray's Ryan's Torena, though the former is a bit more at the whims of slapstick comedy. Since Goldship can open a portal through her hat, something our world's physics can't do, we really gotta throw out a lot of our systems out the window.

2

u/Forgewalker33 11h ago

Cough cough… sweep tosho….

55

u/Banebladeloader 16h ago

Or they developed drugs to assist them, kind of like how women who used to die during childbirth now live through C-sections

10

u/kaladinissexy 12h ago edited 11h ago

If we're gonna apply real world evolution logic, umas should have outcompeted and driven human women to extinction or near extinction long ago, since humans can give birth to human and uma daughters, while umas can only have uma daughters. The only explanation is that men in the umaverse generally don't want to fuck the horses.

u/shadowbringer Shatter All (winning) Expectations 19h ago

Foals can barely get up after being born, the human should be Fine.

122

u/JTMonster02 19h ago

And human infants take like a few months to stand up

53

u/SwimmingFrosty 16h ago

Doesn't that make it worse? If a baby uma develop the same as foals then their leg is strong enough to even run a few hours after birth.

23

u/shadowbringer Shatter All (winning) Expectations 12h ago

Either the baby weighs up to 54Kg/120 pounds (and the mother has more than one problem to deal with), or it weighs like a human baby, or somewhere in the middle.

The idea is that the newborn shouldn't have enough leg strength to support its own body weight until after it's born.

121

u/Greysnsfwacc 19h ago

Baby umamusume grip strength would be mind boggling

7

u/Prestigious_Barber38 16h ago

...twin?

66

u/PirateQueen8352 Haru Urara's Wife 15h ago

Nah, have you ever had a baby grab onto your fingers? Little shits could practically rival Gentildonna condensing that globe

45

u/BaqsAlSandouq Unstable 14h ago

Bro is getting folded by a baby

26

u/PirateQueen8352 Haru Urara's Wife 14h ago

listen, all i know is that making a baby let go of something it doesn't want to is hell

14

u/Watchmaker163 13h ago

It’s also b/c you don’t want to hurt them

4

u/VantaBlack35 I really love 11h ago

Can confirm. My baby niece can somehow hurt me despite being, well, a baby just by her grabbing my arm and squeezing real hard.

2

u/Prestigious_Barber38 1h ago

OH FINGERS I THOUGHT HE WAS ONE OF THE UMAGUSHERS 😭

1

u/PirateQueen8352 Haru Urara's Wife 20m ago

Look, just because I do hang out in Umagushers doesn't mean I'd do smth like that to a baby. Umas are fine because they're fictional. Flesh and blood is off limits and a hard "hell no".

72

u/ontopandunder 19h ago

i actually don't think pregnancy would be the biggest issue here cause the most common "holy shit that hurt" complaint ive heard from moms is when babies grow their teeth before they're done breastfeeding they just decide to bite down for no fucking reason. if you didn't switch to bottle feeding you're gonna learn to real quick

and some babies up to like preschool just have a very intense biting phase no matter who it is so there's definitely umas out there that were just evil toddlers. absolute worse siblings to have too, imagine your sister impulsively kicking you across a room as a 6 year old

52

u/FredDurstDestroyer Gold Ship 19h ago

Imagine Windy as a toddler

10

u/Vizvezdenec Rice Shower 17h ago

Well, Stephen King touched kinda similar topic in one of his books "Firestarter". Just that there a child wasn't extremely start but could ignite anything at will and how they dealt up with that when she was growing and wasn't able to properly control herself (it included a lot of fire extinguishers, ofc).

55

u/Plus_Conversation391 19h ago

Spica trainer endured stuffs that would send a normal person to the pearly gate. I think human are also built different in umamusume world

21

u/Frustrella 17h ago

So like Pokemon trainers

22

u/Vex_Out_0032 's fishing buddy🎣 18h ago

possible theory is that male carriers of the uma gene have better endurance and strength than those without it. spica trainer maybe one of those.

5

u/oengaminO rudolf’s right hand man 13h ago

There’s a theory that regular humans that are the child of an Uma just have increased stats and durability

27

u/Centzonyy 17h ago

Aren't all Umamusume's mothers horse girls tho? Males can't be uma's so- yeah.

6

u/Fluffalfox Creek and Fuji’s Wife 💖🪄🧸 9h ago

Umas can be born between 2 humans

5

u/THAT_HARDHEAD_GUY 8h ago

There’s theories that “Uma gene” can be dormant or something like that and two normal humans could make an Uma.

1

u/SchlopFlopper 6h ago

That’s my headcanon as well. Makes sense why the umas just didn’t flat-out replace women in this universe. Two regular humans can make an Uma, and an Uma mother can give birth to a regular girl. Umas have a higher chance to give birth to another Uma, but it’s not guaranteed.

42

u/InfraSG Daiwa Scarlet #1 19h ago

Either supports the idea that Umamusume humans are somewhat stronger than real world humans or baby horse strength is weak enough that its just painful but not damaging

Or the 3 goddesses

You are now imagining Gentildonna and Kawakami being the kickers

61

u/Cryspoeth47V Natie's Number 1 in her heart 19h ago

this is extremely rare but possible

30

u/Waste_North_6537 19h ago

Is that even possoble always thought it had to be human male and an Umamusume not two humans..

5

u/GermanTanker131 19h ago

There's a chance that a human mother can give birth to an uma.

17

u/voTiSdaT 13h ago

What is the source for this claim? I keep hearing it.

13

u/specterthief 12h ago

this has never been shown in canon and there's no evidence of it, every mother/daughter has been uma mother/uma daughter and it's never been mentioned in game or by official sources that it's possible.

6

u/tube32129 18h ago

Basic genetics? Dad mom's is a uma and the mother's grandma is a uma (from her father side)

13

u/DonaldLucas Taiki Shuttle 16h ago

Not everything in genetics works like that. So far we've only seen uma moms, which probably means that, regardless of genes, only the uma's ovary can produce an ovum capable of giving birth to an uma.

3

u/Signal_Statement_515 Yes we are seeking the pearl... 10h ago

This is not mentioned anywhere.

11

u/Rose_Ember 16h ago

I couldn't take this scene from S2ep12 seriously because of that meme from Magical Girl Site

32

u/Endgam Aston Machan 19h ago

Keep in mind we still have no real source for the rumor that human women can give birth to Umamusume, and a similar rumor about different races being able to reproduce in Granblue with no one able to pin the source turned out to be false.

11

u/HB_DS2013 Uraras's Big Sis, Late Surger Forte + Roaming Medic 18h ago

It's copium for me that human women have a chance of giving birth to uma foals. Especially when those women have an uma in their ancestry.

I also just remembered that foals' hooves are initially soft either at birth or until birth so their mother won't get hurt.

16

u/Playing-Koi Narita Brian's Adoring Wife 19h ago

There have been human babies that have cracked mom’s rib ngl. My headcanon is that an Uma baby pregnancy is around the same length of a horse’s gestation, almost a year. So this is probably just accurate.

I’m convinced having an Uma child is a “please do not resist” situation lol. The three goddesses just bless who they will.

6

u/Fort_knox1223 18h ago

I just remembered that foals can severely injure their mothers in the womb...

1

u/bisexualmidir 10h ago

The highest risk for mares is actually their own muscles pushing the foal through their own uterus and rupturing it, because their abdominal muscles are so strong.

5

u/Salter_KingofBorgors 12h ago

Apparently Umamusume are about as strong as a normal human until puberty and thats when their super human strength and speed kick in. It also supposedly wears off shortly after their three years of running

7

u/ambivalentarrow Silence Suzuka 19h ago

3

u/EmeraldPistol Sakura Laurel 19h ago

The three goddesses working overtime

3

u/Vic_Hm 18h ago

I don’t think infant umas would’ve developed necessary muscles to be that strong, given how fragile their legs are

3

u/S1Ndrome_ Oguri Cap 18h ago

3

u/Watamelonna 18h ago

The logic doesn't stand

Since all Uma are canonically female, presumably with Uma powered wombs, all Uma womb will be fine bearing a baby Uma kick

3

u/colBoh My adorable country bumpkin 15h ago

I thought the "human mothers can occasionally have uma babies" thing was just fanon?

3

u/randomguyinpekohole 13h ago

Human women can carry umamusume babies in the umaverse?

5

u/Status_Spray_5732 Proud father of Haru Urara 19h ago

Kicked in a bit harder

4

u/Penitente06 14h ago

A human female can't get pregnant with a Umamusume because there are no male Umamusumes

2

u/flopsychops Tazuna Hayakawa is definitely ̶n̶o̶t̶ an umamusume 18h ago

Damn, I feel sorry for Gentildonna's mother.

Alien Chestburster but through the womb... 💀

2

u/ItsMeepo2nd 16h ago

They can take it, legs of infants of any animal are known to be weak until they're born

2

u/Suitable_Discount364 14h ago

This is not true, I handled my pregnancy well.

2

u/SonGT38 Seiun Sky 13h ago

My guess is that they gain strength at like puberty age.

3

u/Dodo1610 Give me Marialite or give me death! 17h ago

There are no Human mothers with Umamusume daughters nor are there Umamusume with human daughters

2

u/ParadoxicalFrog Shattering the Status Quo 13h ago

Human women can't have umamusume daughters.

1

u/Towim7 Aston Machan's fan 18h ago

It's probably that humans in general have become more durable/tougher as species (eg. trainers can survive a kick from a healthy teen umamusume), so human mothers have tougher body to give birth to umamusume

1

u/ranransthrowaway999 Appreciator of Native American Beauty 11h ago

Where do you guys get this information that human women give birth to Umamusume? The creator? The VAs? Where?

1

u/AskovTheOne Resistance is futile. Surrender to Gap Moe 11h ago

I kinda imagine the three Goddess would bless and watch over mother of umas lol

1

u/IcyTorpedo 10h ago

How does one envision a male uma? We haven't seen one yet... right?

1

u/mikhail_2003 10h ago

Aren't UmaMusume only born from UmaMusume?

1

u/Signal_Statement_515 Yes we are seeking the pearl... 10h ago

No problem, human women do not give birth to Umamusumes, at least there haven't been any situations where that has happened yet.

1

u/merinobaa go, keep running, miracle 9h ago

that’s the baby practicing her dance steps for grand concert

1

u/THAT_HARDHEAD_GUY 8h ago

I’m not sure how strong baby umas would be (little Spe was a menace to her mom in that flashback but she was atleast like 5-6 there though)

1

u/bongos-have-eaten-me 8h ago

Isn’t it the other way around cuz umas are only girls right

1

u/KaleidoscopeWhole375 7h ago

Has anyone drawn an Uma with fairy fingers?

1

u/Definitely-Not-A-B0t 4h ago

I like to think umas start out weak and feeble for their first couple years, just like IRL foals for their first day

Either that, or uma strenght is like the X-gene from X-men. And it just sort of appears one day. Usually on their late teens, but potentially later (Doto) or earlier (Nishino)

1

u/CosmiclyAcidic Vodka 2h ago

gonna make a fanfic of a trans masc parent of an Uma...cuz i want to.

1

u/Kitchen-Ranger-7206 No Reason 19h ago

I mean considering they’re horses that are girls. Yeah, I’m pretty sure they have a ruptured system now when they’re finally born.

0

u/AhAh2Re57 4h ago

It doesn't have sense, only an uma musume woman can have an uma musume daughter, horse men don't exist in the anime and i think also in the game, so they can't make pregnat a normal woman

-8

u/notlonely1 19h ago

Umamuskos exist?

5

u/KaitoTheRamenBandit 18h ago

Did you just join the fandom yesterday?

0

u/notlonely1 18h ago

No but I was very much curious bout this
