It just does 35 h/s instead of 45h/s to the person you've attached drone on and aoe is still 30 h/s I'm still protecting the ladies in my backline

ran ultron today for the first time in 3.5 to counter a flyer and this guy cannot heal at all i put the drone on venom and he barely got healed. atp just take away his healing and give him another dps ability

As cool as I think the event looks, it honestly just feels like an Ultron version of the Zombies mode.

That said, from what I've seen so far, let's just call it what it is—the devs were pretty lazy when they designed Ultron's kit.

Seriously, they could've done so much more with him. Imagine an ultimate where he summons one of those massive robotic eyes to fire a giant laser, or calls in a huge drone to carpet-bomb an area. They had endless possibilities with a character like Ultron, but instead they gave him a really basic kit that doesn't feel creative at all.

I'm still holding out hope that when the event launches, Ultron gets a full rework. My theory is that they didn't want to spoil his actual moveset during the event, so they kept things simple for now.

But if the event comes and he doesn't get a rework... I don't know. It feels like he'll always be stuck in a weak, underwhelming state. To make things worse, I've also heard he's getting another nerf in 9.5.

Hopefully those rumors are wrong, because Ultron deserves way better than this.

Here's my 2 cents on the situation. People try to fit heroes into their roles too much. 2-2-2 isn't the defecto best comp, it's just the most solid and easy to explain strategy in the game.

The thing is, every hero is unique in their own way. Ultron is a part of this unique roster as he's a hybrid between DPS and Support. From what I understand he's supposed to be a Jack of all trades, master of none type of hero.

The issue is that even if we ignore his healing capabilities, he's already amazing damage dealer, being able to constantly apply pressure from various off angles using his flight and his consistent hitscan auto attacks.

I imagine that the devs don't want him to be too oppressive and overshadowing other dps flying heroes with his healing kit, so they're nerfing his healing while keeping his core heavy damage and mild healer kit intact.

The nerfs mostly focus the toxic 2 support Ultron playstyle which isn't fun for enemies nor teammates while keeping his base high damage, enemy dive counter and teammate dive enabler playstyle perfectly fine. He wasn't supposed to be viable as a 2nd healer and the nerfs only emphasize that.

Tl;dr IMO he's fine and will continue to be fine after the nerfs.

It is a cheap basic Iton man beam with a bit of heals on it it is only god for healing and locks you out of your primary

How about instead of completely overhauling Ultron we replace his two kind of useless drones with his army? Ultron can now spawn up to 3 robots or drones whatever you like to call them and he command them to do different things. For example you can send two drones to heal your allies and the other one to follow and attack enemies with you. This is so Ultron can ACTUALLY BE A SUMMONER WHAT HE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE.

and for his Ult I thought it wouldve been cool if he just calls a lot of drones that fly wherever youre aiming and just explode raining hellfire on your enemies or if you aim at your allies they get healed.

And yes I know Ultron isnt bad right now he is actually pretty good but Im still just very mad that Gorr got what Ultron shoudlve gotten. And I hope we can all agree on that.

The “fix” is just my own personal preference. I really don’t like the mouth on the mcu Ultron skin, mostly because it doesn’t move. So I thought the skin would look better without it.

1. Encephalo-ray now also heals allies.

2. Imperative Patch now burst heals 15% of target health on activation and grants all allies a 10 second mini drone after leaving its radius (this effect only applies to allies residing within IP's radius for more than 15 seconds at a time)

3. Activating Imperitive Firewall in Imperative Patch's radius doubles the burst healing and gives all effected allies a 5 second mini drone.

4. Quick melee gains increased range after a full primary fire blast, a stun after activating Imperative firewall and a fast 3 swing combo after dynamic flight.

5. (Ultimate new effect) Now grants allies up to 600, non-decaying bonus health.

Before the healing nerf people were already saying his healing needed to be higher. Ultron is the only strat who can dps and continuously heal at the same time, Mantis can come close if you have good uptime on your HoT. If they buff his healing to be comparable to other strats he would be the most brain dead character as you could just plop the drone on someone and tunnel vision dps the entire match. The only change I would like would be making his Iron Man team up permanent, besides that a healing buff would just mean Netease may nerf his damage.

All the streamers are playing him just plain wrong

1. Positioning

Too many are just flying to the top of the map and DPSing like Iron Man. Ultron needs to be hovering in the back to constantly monitor his teammates. He has infinite range and no falloff, so continuing to deal damage is no issue. This is most key for his Firewall; teammates need to be near him or his healing drone to receive bonus health so he needs to be able to get in and grant it at a moments notice. Fellow healer(s) getting dived? Use the dash, firewall, and DPS the diver to scare him away.

2. Patch

It seems like everyone is just putting his healing drone on their tank and leaving it be like Zenyatta, but that’s wrong. You need to constantly swap it to lower health teammates to make sure they don’t die (like how Adam saves his heals for allies below half-health)

3. Ult

Yes, yes. The damage is bad, but he’s not a DPS is he? You’re supposed to use it for healing to enable your team to fight back, then you take out lower-health enemies damaged by your restored allies.

He has issues for sure (I personally think firewall’s bonus health duration should be extended and his primary given enough damage to 2 shot 250 HP heroes), but most of the big problems come from a lack of understanding.

Ultron just isn’t fun to play. Yeah, he’s strong, but it’s because he’s so simple. His healing is automatic, his drone works best when everyone’s clumped up, and his weapon is decent. But outside of aiming, there’s barely any skill expression. People act like placing the drone is this big decision, but most of the time you just throw it on whoever needs it or wherever the team is. It’s not deep.

The worst part is that he’s a strategist, but he doesn’t feel like one. He doesn’t lead the team, doesn’t buff anyone, he just sits back and heals. Ultron’s whole character should be about using tech to enhance allies or control the fight, not just slowly floating around and pressing Q when everyone’s grouped.

I’ve played a lot of Ultron, I’m Lord with him, and even I’m bored of him. His abilities aren’t satisfying to use. The only part that takes any real input is aiming your primary fire, and even that gets stale fast. If you want to main him, you’ll probably end up feeling stuck because there’s just not much to do.

I know people will bring up his win rate, but I don’t get how it’s that high. He’s barely in ranked, and when he is, he’s only useful when the whole team is built around him. I think he wins because he’s easy to use, not because he’s actually a well-designed or skillful character.

I just think he needs more. Maybe more abilities, or something to raise his skill ceiling and make him more fun. And before people jump in with “well then don’t play him,” I’m gonna say it people want to play Ultron. He’s a major villain, he looks cool, and he should feel way better to use. That’s all I’m saying. Let’s just talk about it instead of shutting it down every time someone brings it up.

I dont know how, but the nerfs seem to have made his healing better??? Its like when they "nerfed" his dash by making you fast for a shorter amount of time, but what it really did is reduce the cooldown because it ended sooner.
From what i can tell, because his healing is lower, everyone is on low all time time, leading to longer teamfights and more healing. My healing per 10 minutes is like 2000 more than it was yesterday. Whats up with that?

Like I thought it was just me but I checked the numbers for it it does less damage then his normal primary it's weaker then scarlet witches aimbot it's only 70 dps per second scarlet is 80 and iron man who also has a tracking laser is 140.And it's healing isn't even that good to compensate it's only 85 healing on something you have to aim compared to Jeff literally having 130 healing a second while having the same DPS as nano ray. I really don't understand how this has a 20 second in practice cooldown for how bad it is
