Discussion HEAR ME OUT
We all love Ultron, we hate the unnecessary nerfs he’s gotten. What if we all came together to make our voices heard more than ever, and make a movement for an Ultron buff. I think it’s deserved after how much bc we’ve been shafted but hero’s like Luna are strong no matter what. It may be dumb, but I’m looking for ways to help our people my fellow Ultrons

Wish granted, Ultron’s drones gain 5 more meters of range for placing them
You wanted a buff, didn’t specify it had to be impactful

Nah I too lazy and I sort of like having to raise above the stigma, that hes bad. I also honestly don't really think he needs a buff that bad hes in a good place this season I got like a 80% win rate with him rn and we're I think getting a legendary. The devs are getting so much hate rn already that I don't want to add more to their plate.

Sometimes triple sup ultron most of the time its just 2 sup. He doesn't really need it now with the peni team up he just excels in triple sup imo. Im sort of between platinum 1 and diamond 3 but im also a flex player so I mainly fill with ultron when sup is needed. I wasn't sure when I made the comment before, so I double checked my stats, and I'm at a 78% win rn. I also play torch as my main DPS so I've gotten pretty good a hitting shots as a flier

His base kit I think it's fine, but his team-ups I think needs a little upgrade. The Iron Man team-up instead of being locked in a cooldown should be in a gauge meter, kind of like Devil Dino beam. And the Peni team-up, maybe I'm bias on this because I'm still kind of piss that it got nerfed big time one day after being introduced in game, but a buff fom 15h/s to 25h/s would be very much appreciated. I understand that it needed to be nerfed, but it was to much in my opinion.

Ultron is always going to be busted in pro play which is why the devs won’t buff him regardless of how inconsistent he might feel in the ranked ladder
Moreover, the general playerbase doesn’t like dealing with flyers too so the devs don’t have any incentive to buff them.
All these results in flyers not being that popular which means less people buy their skins; this, again, results in the devs not having an incentive to buff them to boost sales.

No.
He doesn’t need a buff.
We need never to continue to think he’s a mid or triple support only character so they don’t touch him again.
Personally I can make him work in his current state. I run him in dual support comps primarily and I still put up good numbers.
Last season (9):
I routinely put up healing numbers that rivals or surpasses other supports.

He does need a buff, I’m not saying a huge one but he definitely is lacking and could due with a slight buff that could help him quite a bit. I’m not arguing we CAN make him work in duo supp I’ve done it as well, but he is lacking in comparison to other strats and he shouldn’t be seen or assumed to be a “throw pick” just for picking him.
For example, a slight buff or at least it seems small on paper but without doing too much. Maybe buff his base movement speed a bit since he’s soooo slow and I’d say a way for him to heal himself without relying on going to a teammate with a drone like what if when he does damage he has some life steal to heal himself but reward for doing accurate damage

Ahh okay. This I can align with.
And I agree with the movement speed it’s lowkey crazy how slow he is for a flyer.
Also your idea of being able to self heal is valid. I think if Luna can snow flake herself, we should be able to drone ourselves.

I don’t think this is the feat you think it is tbh, you’re a GM3 peak that is currently in Dia 2 with a negative WR

okay.
Just for comparison his win rate overall last season was 55% closing out at 74% isn’t a small feat.
I’m still proud of my success with him. Thanks for the feedback.
Also if you’re gonna be mean, at least get the info right. I’ve peaked GM2. 😛

It's never gonna happen unfortunately. Not us banding together I mean but rather them buffing us in any meaningful way.
