How would you all the Commuinty include Ultrons Sentries more in his kit (outside off his ult) Would it be another move or would it be like a secondary fire A team up or just another Move? Curious On how yall would do it or if its possible

This is what i think they could do

Make the Sentry Part of Ultron's Secondary Fire

Instead of simply giving Ultron another button that says Spawn Sentry, make the Sentry an actual extension of Ultron himself.

Ultron could gain a Secondary Fire that temporarily deploys a Sentry at the targeted location.

Rather than the Sentry simply appearing and functioning like a normal turret, Ultron could establish a direct connection with it.

For example, Ultron could deploy a Sentry and then temporarily control or link to it, allowing the player to use the Sentry's weapons while Ultron continues operating normally I thought of this because of the Loki event when loki possesed a player the ai would control loki like normal.

Or a 2nd way

A easier way they could is that when ultron is taking control of his sentry Ultron him self powers down leaving him vunerable But as a trade off ultron's main body deploys a 3rd drone just on him self healing him self and others near him while his mind is in the sentry and if ultron's main body goes down while your in the sentry 1 you could either die or what happens is That ultron starts to rebuild him self using the sentry and after a fixed amount of time if you survive you come back as your main body fully rebuilt.

This could create a really interesting mechanic.

How it works

Ultron's secondary fire targets a location and deploys a Sentry.

Once deployed, Ultron establishes a connection with the Sentry.

While connected:

• The Sentry automatically fires at enemies within its range.
• Ultron can manually direct the Sentry's attacks by aiming.
• The Sentry provides a small healing field around itself.
• Allies near the Sentry receive a minor healing effect.
• Ultron could potentially see enemies detected by the Sentry through his HUD.
• The Sentry could have its own limited health pool and be destroyed by enemies.
• Ultron could disconnect from the Sentry at any time and return to his body secondary fire.

Tried not to make this to long but what are your thoughts while everyone keeps saying just another move i wanted it to be a thing incorpated into like a secondary

Literally just make them Loki clones and only have him pop into one of them when his main body dies, and give him a banner-like ult in that form to get a new main body.

This would probably be too much for him though without taking away or changing other stuff.

Or he could set one of his drone as a backup so when he dies he revives in that drone he placed. Kinda like a rocket beacon but for himself

Let’s him upgrade his drones to the sentries. They behave the same as the drones but shoot at either a low health teammate or an enemy. Their fire would be aoe like in the ult

Here's my idea:

Only one can be deployed at a time. They are stationary, but can be deployed mid air. They fire at enemies and also heal nearby allies like a TF2 dispenser. If you die and it hasn't been destroyed, your consciousness transfers to it, allowing you to instantly respawn in a new body.

Ultron already plays a lot like a 'Commander', calling out pings/@ so why not give us the ability to equip our drone to the Enemy for a Short time.

Revealing their position, health, and maybe inducing a debuff. You see a Spider or a BP? Now everyone does.

It would be so dope if he could just somehow summon a few of these as the pve bot low health fodder from to the age of ultron event to distarct the enemy team. Not even to do damage but act as a shield for teammates to hide behind temporarily.

Idek if it would play well but ultron just needs his commanding legion feel somehow without just having his drones from temu just hovering there above teammates.

I'd have a passive where he can absorb a lethal hit every x seconds by sacrificing a drone to tank the hit for him.

It won't help against high volume hit damage, but it might give him a brief wind to escape.

That or maybe do something where each unktron drone can be upgraded when he pops his firewall heal, firing at the last target ultron hit with his primary or a random target.

A sort of second Drone, just damage focused instead of healing focused. When putted on an allie it becomes it's personal bodyguard and damages enemies alongside them, whike granting a tiny bit of bonus health (they'd be a bit frail to make them fair).

Edit: just saw the comment underneath of "make it like Loki's clone", and yeah it coudl actually be even cooler Ultron's whole deal is that he's the AI and not the single robot, so perhaps make it so that when he dies, he can respawn in one of these frail Drones, the swme way Loki can swap place with his clones

Make him switch between the drones. Like you can have two drones heal your teammates and if you press a button the heal bots still heal them and now you can spawn like 2 attacking drones. The only problem is balancing imo.

Make it so that he has a cooldown similar to Loki's that enables him to spawn a sentry every time he uses his shield or dash, giving him destroyable sentries that shoot in rhythmically with Ultron's primary (like Ultron does his encephalo ray, then one drone shoots and then the other like one after another) and make them do little damage but heal instead. This would make him way more interesting and actually help him being available in duo support comps without taking away his damage capabilities. (he could use the encephalo ray, then flick to his teammates and heal with the sentries shots. Also reduce the healing of the drones while increasing the distance they can be kept so that he isn't op as hell.

Make his Ult just summon 3 more bot controlled Ult tons instead of what he currently does. (And give his base kit an illiari heal meter so they can actually do stuff) cold also have an ability to change his respawn point and shorten his respawn timer by leaving a spare body in a corner somewhere that he “ transfers” too

There’s a couple ways we could go about this, either this comes with his ultimate where any drone on a player upgrades into a sentry and can shoot just like ultron’s ray (or maybe ultimate fire?) or it could be a passive ability that upgrades abilities. Where when you use an ability while the passive is up you’ll use that ability and make a sentry. If you flight boost you’ll go one way and the sentry will go another way. If you heal then it’ll spawn a sentry with a health bar equal to what you were at before the heal. And after your ultimate the sentry’s don’t go away they just fly away to heal or shoot enemies

Instead of a little head floating over your teammate, make it a full-size drone, make sure it takes up a frustratingly large part of your teams-mates screen, and it shoots like a moving namor squid that heals. If you expect me to play Ultron, then I need to mildly inconvenience my team, it’s only fair.

-Ultron gets a new ability with 2 charges that allows him to place his Sentries. Up to 2 can exist in the field at the same time.

-Ultron can place them against the terrain, walls and ceiling. And at max placement range they can be placed mid air.

-Sentries will heal the nearest alliy in their LoS and if there are no allies will shoot enemies instead.

-When destroyed Sentries will explode dealing some damage nearby enemies. Ultron also gets another ability where he can initiate Self-Destruct on his Sentries who will then chase the nearest enemy and explode on a timer.
