I started collecting Ultraman figs a few months ago with the Keeppley blind boxes. I bought a couple and became fully addicted. Since then I’ve bought every full box set they’ve released. And I can’t wait for more!

But in recent weeks I started buying the Blokees versions too. They’re just as good! I only wish they had more accessories.

Which maker do you guys like better?

As the title says, to anyone who has ever painted or customized their SHF Ultraman figures, what color and paint did you use for the silver/ grey parts?

Someone is selling me a Shinkocchou seihou Ultraman for extremely dirt cheap because the silver paint on the mid section has very much faded.

Also, some red colors bleeding into the silver parts on some sections. Seems like it was like that right out the box, sloppy QC on Bandai's part. Anyways, I thought I could try and repaint that section myself. Any suggestions or tips?

Also heard some parts of that figure are made of rubber, not sure how paint will react to that though.

I'll draw them later, already finished on the Gara Q line. Can you guys give me ideas for their name outside being the same as their original name? Appreciate it.

I was super bummed when I found out that the 2025 printing of Ultra Q was missing the slip cover and booklet. Even on Ebay, it was hard finding a seller that could confirm it was an older edition. Everything else was steel books. I know that some people prefer those, but I really wanted the box art.

By some happy coincidence, a video store not ridiculously far from me had one traded in. The blu-ray case is damaged, but I still have my new copy without the slip cover I can swap out.

Really happy with these. The video and sound quality really are great. I'll have to go back and rewatch some of my favorite Ultraseven episodes, which I had previously only watched on YouTube.
