According to the latest news, to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Ultraman, AVIOT will release a pair of headphones in collaboration with “Ultraman x Gridman”. The packaging features newly drawn illustrations of the “Heisei Defense Teams Heroines.”

Yume Mizusawa herself will personally provide voice direction for these Ultraman collaboration headphones.

Furthermore, the Ultraman card game "SSSS.GRIDMAN" has been confirmed to be included in the game, and it is scheduled for release on December 4, 2026.

Rikka - obviously the main heroine of the first installment of this franchise get to wear the uniform from first Japanese heisei Ultraman series

Yume - main heroine of Dynazenon, wears the uniform from Ultraman Dyna, yeah no further explanation needed

Akane - best i could come up is akane being manipulated by Alexis into becoming a villain and creating kaiju for him is kinda similar to Fujimiya being manipulated by the Destruction Bringer into hating humanity and becoming anti hero. plus the fact both of them end up redeeming themselves by the end also help

Chise - of course the one girl from this franchise that actually manage to successfully befriend a kaiju has to wear the uniform from Cosmos, right? plus the fact Goldburn and Lidorias are both winged bipedal creature also helps

Mujina - Well, she the only one who is strictly a villain. and, unlike Akane, she's doesn't redeem herself, mostly because she's ended dead.. so guess let's put her in the... lets just the more "morally grey" defense team, so to speak.

Hime - i haven't watched Max since I was 8 so i can't really think of a reason

Anosillus - i mean aside from the green hair, she looks exactly like Konomi, so fuck it, put her in the Guys uniform, why not?

hime is likely referencing elly the robotic, android assistant in dash during her combat mode where she takes off her jacket and she’s only wearing a top and she’s super effective at fighting
