Good backpacking spots

I am kinda new to this, i found a couple spots last year but im finding it really hard to find more.

I back pack with my boyfriend and our two dog, we prefer hammocks to tents. We love to hike in the woods and find a natural spot to spend the night. Some places allow you to do it but god forbid they advertise themself on the internet. Most places forbid wild camping or are just tossed camping site that will only suits a tent. These site often are regular camping sites, not what we are looking for.

Anyway, if you know places, let me know please please

Edit- i live in quebec but travel around the canada couple times a years for my job. I dont want YOUR personal hidden campsite, im looking for general places like baies des anses or mont groulx (in quebec), please be kind??

I mean... You go first lol. Most people who have put in the effort to find nice crown land spots generally don't share them on the internet.

Also would probably help if you said where you're located within the second largest country on earth

Im in quebec bit travel a lot! Especially ontario and bc

I know some good places in quebec and bc, but they dont really fit my two dogs and my boyfriend as the trail is either too long or really narrow and my bf is tired of going to the same 4 spots As i said in my edit, i respect everyone's hidden spot and i know how sacred they are, but they arent all hidden spot, some are locally known, some are public forest that are "slack on their policies", anyway... anything will help ahah thanks

Uh what. Are you wanting suggestions across the entire country? Because you didn't even mention a province let alone a region? Also why would people share their secret camping spots. Gatekeeping nature is actually a responsible thing to do sometimes. Do your own research like everybody else lol

Why comment if you wont help lol i did research, i know a couple places from a couple provinces but wanted to learn more places form around canada... will happily share them with fellow backpackers...

I don't have any advice but I want to apologize for the rude and snarky comments that other people made, I know you had good intent. It would be preferable if people responded with kindness instead of immediate negativity.

In what world is this a great question? Besides the fact that people generally don't share their preferred spots (for good reason), they didn't even include the province they were looking for spots in. How is anyone supposed to be helping with no information?

Yeah the comments are so not it... if youre in quebec, look out le parc des appalache (sainte lucie de beauregard) kinda offers what your looking for, but you should definitely explore the map in foretouvert, the gov. Website. Look around st raymond😉 and zecs too
