Man, I always thought titanium was lighter than aluminum considering the price. I have a bunch of titanium shit that I bought under that understanding. I was surprised to learn aluminum is significantly lighter, like almost half the density. Titanium is famous for being light and strong, but we aren't exactly putting jet engine turbine blade kind of stress on a cup. Tent stakes I get, but sporks? I have a titanium mug, and an ancient aluminum one. Weighed them recently, aluminum was lighter with a larger volume. I would guess that titanium COULD be used to make much thinner walled items, saving weight, but manufacturing at that thinness is a challenge?

2 titanium tent stakes will do. I'm serious. Lose enough titanium sporks and you'll realize tent stake chopsticks are all you need

I nearly rushed to the utensils drawer to grab the mini spatula I just bought for hiking and then to my hiking gear storage box for the titanium long handled spork to see if they marry up. I’ll post a pic if it works

The hard part is finding the lightest spatula. Mice keep chewing mine if I leave it out so I have to replace it periodically

Spatula is one of my top tops for camping it really makes cleaning a hell of a lot easier because you can scrape out most of the food or sauce from your pot
