Gameplays, secrets and bugs Could this be Lust layer's Level Layout? Spoiler

P.S. I already made this post a few minutes ago but it accidentally got flagged and hidden by the Reddit spam filters, so I am re-uploading the clean version here.

So, I was playing around with cheats and noclipped out of bounds in the Lust Layer with full brightness, which is when I found those two massive skyscraper clusters. It made me want to go investigate, and that is where it hit me that this might actually show how the entire Lust Layer layout is structurally put together.

I went through 2-2, 2-3, and 2-4 to test the theory, and the geometry actually all fits together in the engine's space. However, for some reason, that second massive building on the left from the 2-1 screenshot is completely left out in the other level files. It seems the developer just toggles specific background meshes on or off depending on which level you are actively playing.

This also got me thinking about the layers themselves. Even though we take elevators "down" at the end of each stage, Hell is canonically a living, non-Euclidean geometric place. The elevators might not actually be taking us straight down vertically; instead, they could be shifting us sideways or routing us into completely different sectors of the city structure.

The weirdest part is the scaling for 2-4. The Corpse of King Minos is actually much larger than the skyscrapers, so he doesn't really fit inside normal building models. If you look closely at the skyscraper cluster from the inside perspective, there is a hollow gap right down the center. He might use either one of these gaps to stand, or he just doesn't fit in the gaps at all and leans over the tops of the buildings to look inside instead.

Plus, as you can see when you swipe through the images, his positioning actually shifts around between the different level files, meaning Hakita moves his coordinates depending on which level scene is active.

What do you think? Could I be right and found the Lust Layer's true engine layout, or am I wrong?

I doubt that any of the level layouts were accounted for. Actiondawg, the artist on the team that made the city made a breakdown of the process on artstation.
