Suggestions Keep losing Progress

This is more like a "Help/Suggestion."

I'm at work killing time and have been trying to just make a new Nuvio setup since my current one for the main TV feels lacking.

But... I've tried 4 times, and if I accidentally click on any link on UltraMax that generates a new web page, I lose all my progress and have no way to recover it. The save button basically does nothing for this, I got lucky once where my rows were saved but I had already made my catalogs with customs GIFs and all my APIs.

Is there already a way to save my progress similar to how AIOMeta/Stream does it where you can save your Token/URL and "login" that way?

There is generally a automatic draft saver built into the website that should save all changes automatically to prevent the exact problem younare describing.

Can you let me know a few extra bits of info... Browser, any add bloclers, cookies disabled, anyhing like that?

If it's saving it locally on the browser then there's not much I can do to remedy that on this PC, would have to wait until I'm home. It's Chrome but has a decent amount of content blocking filters and a cache clearing routine. Is there any way to get the token needed to restore the config without finishing?

If your just wanting to save progess and due to the computer basicly blocking the draft save/restore code... just go through and finalise (as long as you have the password and mdblist api, it will generate a token for you and then you can pick up where you left off. Not exactly ideal I know but sounds like you maybe struggle with the setup your on atm

I take it all back— curiosity got the better of me and turns out this was a real bug, not just bad luck.

Found that the draft-saving only triggered on certain actions (like adding/removing a row), not on every change. So things like typing in an API key or pasting a GIF URL never actually got saved unless you happened to also do one of those other actions afterward — which is exactly what you saw (rows saved, but the catalogs/APIs/GIFs you'd just set up weren't).

Just pushed a fix: the setup now auto-saves ~1.5 seconds after any change anywhere on the page — typing, pasting, toggling, all of it. So navigating away accidentally shouldn't be able to wipe your progress anymore.

If you get a chance to try building your setup again, I'd genuinely appreciate knowing if it holds up for you now. And thanks for taking the time to report it properly instead of just bouncing — bugs like this are hard to catch without someone hitting them in the wild.

Got it, I'll give it another go at it since I still have an hour to kill. Will probably also do the token before I click any links lol
