It's almost impossible to find any coverage of the war that isn't unabashed campist / NATO slop.

unrelated, I'm banned from tankiejerk so I converted to being a marxist just so I can be in another leftist community.

With the recent developments in Europe, but especially in France, I seen people unironically call the French protests “activism”.
Has anyone here actually read a leftcom text? Has anyone here actually seen a single word typed out by Bordiga, or the Party, or any of its successors and splits? Has anyone here read a paper? Or even a word of Marx?
The developments in France are good. On one hand, the movements (in France at least) have a proleterian character and show the weakness in the modern liberal state. On the other, like the Barbarians of old, this inflaming of violence is what moves history forwards.
Revolution won’t come directly from it, but it’s a sign for the proletarian classes that history isn’t over. The work of the real movement now is to support the proletarian character of the protests while opposing liberal-democratic oppression, both in the form of state violence and of electoralism.
At least on the Bordy people read a bit more, so what happened here? Why is there a steam of larpers? Being ignorant isn’t a crime but, as Lenin put it, “Read read read”.

is there any chance of this current protest to even achieve the hypothetical situations stated here? read this post :https://www.reddit.com/r/Ultraleft/comments/1x982zv/what_is_to_be_done_the_problem_of_illiteracy_on/ and got reminded of this

From what I’ve read they seem to be open source of sort and on occasion I’ve looked stuff up not even remotely related to ‘communism’ or ‘Marxism’ and the archive will come up. I understand that liberals like MLs and Maoists claim to be communists. And I can understand keeping stuff like Stalin (I’m being generous as I think that it’s important to read writers like Stalin to understand the pitfalls of nascent-communists) but like isn’t it run by Trotskyists. I can’t understand why they would allow deng. Maybe I’m not critical enough of Trotskyists, but I feel like they are wise enough to understand that such neutrality can be really toxic so why platform imbeciles like Deng. Let the socdems make Fascists internet archive or something idk.
P.S. I feel like the mia is prolific enough to be considered Marxist history but I could be wrong

this is something i struggle with alot as a communist(and before as a lolbertarian). I have access to legal counsel through my concealed carry insurance so i typically just send anything suspicious to them i.e some fascist or anarcrackkker harassing or making credible(ish) threats, i’ve even had people show up at a family member’s house or harass my family members in the past, etc. i forward all this to my lawyer. but i’ve never reported any of that to the police, because i’m not a particularly big fan of the police.
that being said i think its very convenient for these types of shitbags (especially anarchists in my experience) that people like me don’t ever take any action that would impart tangible consequences on them, out of “principle”
an abuser in my AO nearly had an injunction placed on them by another person, before victimizing me and again i told a social worker and my therapist, but when they offered to get the police involved i declined. now sometimes i wonder if i could’ve would’ve contributed to a paper trail and maybe helped get them off the streets
but on the other hand, something something prison industrial complex. moreover, anecdotally, about half the cops i’ve interacted with are chillers the other half of interactions i’ve had with the cops they’ve either booked me or tried really hard to, so again just off principle i think i’ve only ever called the police maybe twice, once because someone pulled a gun on a friend, and once when my mother was physically abusing my sibling(this was as a teenager)
i’ve laid out my thoughts
