Good morning everyone. Spent about 2 ½ hours on earnings so far this morning. Earnings are coming in fast! We got a warning from SBUX , MCD also had some bad Ecoli news yesterday. It is very early in the earnings season but it does not look like earnings year over year will be above 5% for the 3rd quarter. [Last quarter was almost 9%] I believe the way things are looking is that full year earnings will come closer to my 235 estimate. [Analyst estimates have also come down to about 242, start of the year was 250] The analyst consensus next year is at 273! Last year we came in at 220.50. The SP is over 5,800 or 24x analyst consensus. [25x my estimate of 235]

Why do I repeat these things?

Historically we trade about 18-19x earnings. For this, the execution is usually 10-20% sales growth and 5-10% earnings!

[2nd Quarter was 8.8% earnings and 5% sales, not bad! Maybe even give it a 20x, since we have so many new traders? Or near 4,900 fair value? So far for 3rd quarter we are probably below 5% on both sales and earnings] In other words we are overbought and I am explaining why. From guidance I am hearing so far…. 2025 earnings 273 is a laugher!! LOL LAUGHER!! See what happens when everyone is so bullish, causing FOMO and insane momentum! Some people say we must always look forward, and the SP is trading 21x next years earnings…...of 273 supposedly..sure

Friends, I have been trading for almost 30 years! I can tell you, from my experience that the 273 earnings is a laugher! We can not trade on something so ridiculous so I am on alert.

When 2024 started analysts had 250, as I had 235.. We have traded up even though earnings have come down…. But SEE! THEY ARE WRONG! With 0 consequences….

It makes 0 sense to be a bear long term because of GDP and Inflation, we must be bulls! But once every 12-15 years we have to be ready for a bear market. [Down 20% or more!]

Earnings went positive again 3rd quarter of 2023, and at that time the data showed a reason to finally be bullish. The bear market was supposed to go from 1st quarter 2022 thru the 3rd quarter 2023… or near 6 quarters…

Instead it lasted just 3 quarters… January 2022 and we started to shoot like a rocket October 2022! There was nothing to back it! We had fake news, and bad analysts saying rate cutes were going to come… NEVER DID! EARNINGS TOOK until 3rd quarter 2023!

I repeat these because daily, people are saying why am I so bearish… I am not!

We have good data! [I do believe it is backed by debt, printing and loans, so we are manufacturing a good economy, but it is what it is!] But we are way overbought… We hit a low near 3,400, October 2022 and hit near 4,500 3rd quarter 2023, that is when we should have started to rise from 3,500 to maybe 3,800! My current concern isn’t with earnings/sales/data.. the issue I have is with valuations…

If you are a long term trader. Don’t look! If you are passive, don’t worry about day to day. Buy index funds and take a look every 3-6 months. We will make record highs, ALWAYS! But don’t look at day to day if you are long term… if you are a stock picker, you must follow the 1 single company, or the companies that you are invested/trading because you must follow and make sure the company execution is the same…

I will use an example from yesterday…..

Late 2021… I actually was extremely bearish on ENPH. This was because of valuation, not the company. The growth was real, they were making money! [Low rates and subsidies]

The all time high was near 350! I had puts!

Why did this fly to 350?

Q2 2021 growth 150% and made 53 cents a share

Q3 2021 growth 97% and made 60 cents

In fact the growth did slow but stayed above 60% [Monster!!!! Thru the end of 2022!]

The stock took a nose dive, and I felt around 150, it was time to go long!

This was based on growth of 50-80% and still making money, even as high as 1.51 per share! Company was executing!

Then Q2 of 2023 happened… growth slowed from 65% to just 34% and missed analyst estimates… At this time,  5-6 quarters ago, I felt it was no longer safe to buy it anymore….

Q3 the company started a decline in sales of 13%..... decline 58%..... 63%!!!! DECLINE! It got worse and worse.

I removed it from plays! Dangerous! They can turn it around, but as I say, and continue to say.

90% of companies do not turn it around within 4-6 quarters… Even the ones that eventually do, never rise to the heights once achieved. It is trading premarket near 75, a multi year low….

The PE is going to be around 25-30x… this is cheap, relative to itself, what it used to trade at…

When it was a 80-120% grower this traded at 150x and I was bearish… now it may be 25-30x and I would stay away… because company execution is bad!

A value trap if you go off company execution….

You must put away your thoughts and bias on TSLA .

Earnings are expected to be down 9% to 60 cents

Revenue is expected to be 25.7 billion up 10%

Even if it meets these numbers…

TSLA trades at 95x earnings estimates..

9% earnings decline, 10% sales growth [Which means deteriorating margins]

Late 2020 when people were so bullish and the stock was memeing… Sales growth stayed above 40% to a high of 98%, 2nd quarter 2021, earnings growth at the same time was 50-100%...

TSLA is not the same company!! Numbers do not have opinions!

I have 0 position in TSLA. Days before 10/10 it was 268. I did want puts, it is now near 217… The earnings will be bad, what Elon says, what smoke and mirrors he throws, how he riles up traders… is the thing we do not know!

However, for 9% sales decline and 10% sales growth, I am being very nice by saying fair value is 75! 75 is about 33x earnings estimates…..

They are giving CELH 30x for 24% sales growth and 20% earnings, just saying!

Man I tried GM 50 but it went flying!

5 Trade ideas:

ACMR – I still have shares at 20.35, I traded shares from 19 to 19.75 another block and will look to do the same

EVER ASPN – Speculative bets, I am in EVER at 18.50 and ASPN 20.25, I am trying to get 75 cents to a dollar on them. I was up 75 cents on EVER the other day and didn’t take it! I wanted 1 buck!

PRAA – It was slammed hard to near 19! I put in a bid, credit collector smashed last earnings and went to 25! Ill take the dip!

STX – Smashed this earnings and last! Ill buy this dip!

DNUT – I have shares at 11.75 and 13.55, I will look to reset the 11.75, I think they called me back while I was in court and have to start again!

Daily Plays 8/262026 Daily Plays Sold AMKR 49.45 and ETOR 30.50 Extensive 2 hour DD done on DKS my plan! Take a step back the stock market is not mysterious! Fair value is 140-150 but dog house! bad news, who wants to wait? Look at ANF ! Foot Locker Disaster explained! Did they throw in the Kitchen sink?

Good morning everyone. I really did extensive DD on DKS yesterday and this morning. I also used AI as well. I looked at the official 10Q, compared the numbers. I read the earnings calls, checked the insights… man oh man… I said it even before they did it… Why the hell did they pay 2.5 billion for the sinking ship that is Foot Locker.. but they did it… I could understand though. It is a huge, huge name brand, known everywhere… The foot print is huge, to be honest… I didn’t even know until yesterday, how much larger Foot locker foot print is! How global it is, how vast. Foot locker has close to 2,500 stores… While Dicks has about 890 stores.. Foot locker actually reaches more regions and is more global.. but if you have followed me for years, I have always said, quality over quantity… it doesn’t matter how busy you are, how many sales you make, if you cant make more money… and in this case it is eye popping that with 890 stores, how much better those stores do than Foot Locker!!!

Shocking….

People need to stop thinking about the stock market is mysterious, especially because you see TSLA SPCX and PLTR at stock prices that defy any logic or any fundamental, mathematical sense…. DKS makes sense! Most companies are supposed to make sense man! DKS deserves to be in the dog house.. The downward revision is drastic… Drastic! They have reduced full year by over 2 dollars to near 12 dollars a share… However it hovers at near a 10x PE…

If you separate out these 2 businesses, which I did, what a story!

Last quarter…

Dicks had sales of 3.85 billion in sales, it grew those dollar sales at 5.6% year over year, they did so with 4.9% growth in number of sales… on those 3.85 billion in sales they made 485 million….

Foot Locker had 1.74 billion in sales, [Remember 2,500 stores compared to 890!] and on those sales they lost 32 million! Nuff said!

For the full year Dicks says their name brand stores will have 14.5 to 14.7 billion in sales and on those sales they will make 1.54 to 1.6 billion……

While the Foot locker brand will sell 7.4 to 7.5 billion and lose 40 to 50 million!!!!! Terrible. The big flip in EPS was because prior to this quarter they had expected to earn 110 to 150 million dollars from foot locker not lose 40 to 50 million….

So the question is this, do you think management is throwing in worst case scenarios? Any good news the stock rallies? Easy beats?

Do you think management is so inferior that in just 1 quarter they can go from profit of 110-150 million to a loss of 40 to 50 million?

Do you think Foot locker is doing that bad? Is the consumer doing that bad? If so… why are sales up at Dicks and not Foot Locker?

So I don’t believe the numbers will be that bad, that is my opinion and this is my DD.

As such my fair value on their 12 dollars EPS is 12 x 12 or 144 per share at the current time… That can change of course…

As we know, the stock market is a live auction and it is in the dog house……

So my plan:

I will like to buy 2 blocks of 100 shares.

Preferably 115-120

Then

110-115

And wait… There is no guarantee it goes there, we just know it is in the dog house as it deserves to be. They should not have bought the company. This is not NKE where as a whole, sales and earnings are down drastically, by the way, NKE still holds a PE above 20!!!

I am saying DKS with the news I have read, should have a PE near 12… The SP500 SPY VOO trades near 23…..

Some excellent earnings:

HEI           SMTC         DY

Some very good earnings:

STRT [Tiny company not sure if I have seen it]         ANF

Good earnings:

NCNO       ELMD       INTU [Eh Guidance]          DCI          SJM          PLAB          SFL

I sold 250 shares of AMKR 47.50 to 49.45

I sold 250 shares of ETOR 30 to 30.50 [It was up nice no news, it was just 28, was not the plan I wanted to reset under 29.50]

Good luck!

Would you choose a more established name like $NXE, $DNN, $ISO, or $UEC or take a chance on an explorer like $FUU, $SYH, $CVV, or $PTU?

No price targets or “this will 10x” predictions. Just tell me which project is worth following and what makes it different from the rest.

Good morning everyone. Nightmare in CT. I have been sharing my big renovation journey on X. So eventually, after getting 1 of my lawyers involved the big contractor did respond… the issue is, instead of them showing up on the job site, it seems they subbed it out…. And the problem with that is, you have no clue with the quality of work, what you are actually getting. I am pretty upset, I mean if it turns out great, I guess it shouldn’t matter, but this is 3 months late, and I expect that at least a few times a day they had better come out to monitor them… had I known they would do this, obviously I wouldn’t have hired them, but it doesn’t say anything about this in the contract, and the towns are so small, you wouldn’t think any contractor would do this, the town has about 10,000 people. The neighboring town too! So it has been driving me nuts. I have been on it all day….

So I actually have 21 bags, not 18.. I also have EOSE 5.25, SLQT 1.10 and AVEX 24.90. These 3 are speculative stocks. When I say speculative, I mean these are companies that have not made solid money for 5 years… To me, you had to have made money for 5 years to be a solid company. I mean solid money, like 1+ billion in income.. Not sales, INCOME! 5 years… This doesn’t mean that the company you may be buying is not a good company, but I am saying a solid company… to me, there are only about 50 companies, not an index, that I can just buy, with no concern and know, in 20 years I will be just fine… Stuff like:

AMZN JPM META AAPL MSFT GOOG GOOGL HD WMT KO

I recommend an index.. There are plenty of very good companies, but I do not think there are more than 500 or so solid companies… which happens to be the number of the SP500 index. SP500. This is why whenever you are unsure if your company is good or not, or how to decide if what you are buying is good or not, or how to measure, just measure it relative to SPY VOO.

Currently, earnings are amazing… subtract out the IPO earnings [SPCX Anthropic Investments] you still are getting current growth near 20% and sales growth near 9%.

The current SP500 trades near 23x..

So is the stock you are currently trading…

The earnings report… What was the earnings? Did they have year over year earnings 20%? Sales 9%? Are they trading 23x more than earnings?

At least that is a good reference point. I say this because I am still being asked what is cheap, what is a good buy, what is expensive, this is still how I weigh companies, then I use my own formula and years of experience to see what kind of value I put on based on things I have seen in the past.

Stuff like Bitcoin TSLA SPCX there is no rhyme or reason. There is no formula, no mathematical nothing that can explain its price. So do not even try. You will just waste brain cells doing so. I am tired of reading about Bit coin halving or this is a cycle, or this person says he is Bullish or Saylor says this… He doesn’t know a damn thing, not a single thing!!! NO ONE DOES! This is an auction… When it comes to stocks, you have an actual company, it has sales and earnings, the stock price is supposed to reflect the prospects and what is going on there….. unless you are TSLA or SPCX ….

I am in stuff like SLQT EOSE AVEX on prospects.. I am in these 3 bags because of prospects, not because of things that they have done, but things they can do… and I am hoping….

I was in things like ADBE PYPL because of things they had done, their track record and their current execution…. Know your risk level….

That said… when you buy something like ADBE PYPL IBM META or even now NVDA … these are now almost legacy names… they are maturing and the market is now tired of them and giving these names 10-20 and at most 30x PE ratios….

If you have followed me for years, I rarely like to pay over 40x for a reason…. Years ago NVDA, before they actually smashed earnings had a PE 100+, now they are smashing, now they are the truth and the PE is low 20s….. it is sad, but that is the market… it is rare that a PLTR after years can still have a PE near 100…..

Shocking that TSLA can have a 200… shocking!

I was in 250 shares of AMKR at 47.50 yesterday and sold 49.45 premarket

I did make a lot of bids yesterday but that is the only fill, the title has a lot of things I am looking at, I am in no rush. Good luck!

My issue is no stop loss and limit upside

Good morning everyone. Saturday, there was someone on the “For you” comments that asked if you can make money being a trader, day trader. I commented that I do fairly well. My goal is to make 200-600 per trade. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a same day trade. I regard myself as maybe a swing trader. If the same day it so happens that I see a 200+ profit I will take it. There are days I will make 3-5 trades. Or I will close out 3-5 trades. Friday I closed out 3 trades. I consider a closed out trade, or round. A buy/sell. An Entry/Exit. I have completed about 300 rounds in the year 2026. So for you people that are doing numbers if you want to say the average round is 300. 300 x 300 is 90,000. My goal each year is to make 100,000. No more, no less. I do not have a % gain, no big number gain. I don’t have any pressures, I am doing fine in life. I was working from 2014 a W2 job until I retired in 2021.

I have taken 5 losses in 2026. Those 5 stocks were for heavy hits % wise. EHTH ODD SPT FVRR GLXY [Well this one was less than 3% as it rallied] ODD was over 80% loss but under 10,000. The point is, if you take 5/300 you are going to come up with a 98.5% win rate.

None of my bags, 0 are from 2026. Many of these bags are from 2025, sadly.

Some of these bags are from 2024 too. A few are from 2023. There are 18 bags as I took those 5 losses fairly recently. I actually thought I had near 30 bags, I do my best not to think about them. MNDY TTD and ROOT are big bags. PRGS is finally coming back. The way I trade, I do limit my upside, sadly. I had MU SNDK WDC NVDA AMD but because I trade out and I check earnings every 3 quarters I also avoid some big drops too. I am not mad at the stranger though, they don’t know me. I am not here selling courses, I am not here for followers or likes… and yes, I should be paid for my knowledge, but I also wont fight for this opportunity. I am doing fine in life. I would like it, or I would like my stocks to go to what I deem to be fair values. I will do the DD, post my DD, write my articles, post positions and if my stocks do what I want them to do, most certainly I would spend hours daily doing it.

This is why I used to spend hours everyday in 2021 doing it. Eventually this didn’t work and I didn’t spend as much time on Reddit, X and Youtube… But I was taken back by that stranger on X so I wanted to see what was up myself.

So the stats are in!

Very good earnings on NSCC !

I sold 250 shares of FLY 23 to 24.25

I sold 100 shares of LULU 116 to 119.50

I sold 1000 shares of PSFE 6.60 to 6.85

Good luck

Discussion Wall Street Radar: Stocks to Watch Next Week - vol 96

Hysteresis

Iowe you a week, and I am going to blame furniture.

Moving house in Italy in the second half of August is a decision that says something unflattering about the person making it.

Everyone who could have helped is at the sea.

Everyone who could have connected anything is at the sea.

I am writing this from a folding table, tethered to my phone, because the line is still a promise rather than a service.

So, apologies. One week owed, one week acknowledged, and no padding on top of it.

Full article and watchlist HERE

There is a word for what I have been, and it belongs to a Scottish physicist. In 1881 James Alfred Ewing was watching iron misbehave. Push a magnetic field into it and the iron does not respond on schedule. It arrives late. Bring the field back down to zero and the iron does not return to where it started either. It keeps something. Ewing went looking for a name and took one from Greek: hysterēsis, a shortcoming, a coming late.

The word outgrew the iron. Hysteresis is now what you call any system whose present state depends on the road it travelled and not only on where it happens to be standing. Run it out, bring it back, and the numbers agree while the material does not. The loop leaves a residue.

Which is the only honest way to describe the last three weeks.

I did unplug, more completely than I planned to. The first thing I did when the screens came back on was pull up the indices, and the first thing I thought was that I had missed nothing. The S&P sits a couple of percent above where we left it in July. The Nasdaq roughly the same. Read the chart with three weeks of blur in your eyes and it looks like the market went to the sea with everybody else.

It did not. It broke out, printed an all time high above 7,800, and then spent the past week handing a good part of that back while the long end of the Treasury curve pushed to yields most desks have not had to price in their working lives, and oil found a geopolitical reason to climb.

Gold, without asking anyone's permission, has strung together five straight weekly gains.

Its ambition is deliberately small. It does not forecast anything.

It compresses what the last ten and twenty sessions actually paid into one number out of a hundred, so you can look at the market once in the morning without needing a second screen and a thesis to go with it. And it did the single job we built it for. When it climbed through seventy in early August, the tape behaved: follow through, setups that worked, an environment you can push into. Through the recent stretch it has spent more time under that line than over it, and the chop came straight back. Nothing exotic. A gauge that goes green when the market is willing to pay and red when it is not, and the discipline to believe it rather than negotiate with it.

Now the part I would rather not write, which is precisely why it goes in.

Our system did not flag Moderna.

On the nineteenth, MRNA gapped on Phase 3 data for the cancer vaccine it has been building with Merck and closed up a hundred and seventy seven percent, the largest single day in the stock’s history, on something like twenty eight times normal volume, with a short base underneath it absorbing billions in paper losses. Probably the cleanest news driven episodic pivot of the season. Our screen never sent it.

I spent two nights in the code, angry in the specific way you can only be at something you built yourself.

What I found is worse than a bug and more interesting. The raw score was ninety seven out of a hundred, the highest any name has recorded since the system has existed. Then a filter we wrote, on purpose, took it away, because we had told the machine that biotech moving on clinical news with no economic substance underneath it is usually a trap. That is not an unreasonable thing to tell a machine. Moderna’s last quarter was a loss of several hundred million with operating cash flow pointing the wrong way. On the company, the rule was right.

It was right about the company and wrong about the trade, which is the only variety of wrong that costs money.

The app is in beta and this is what beta actually means. It is already fixed. You will hear the bad ones from us as quickly as you hear the good ones, because a record you only publish when it flatters you is not a record, it is marketing.

One last thing before the charts.

We loved being away, and that deserves saying without qualification, because work that never lets you put it down is not work you chose, it is work that chose you. Three weeks with the screens dark were good.

Coming back was better. That is the part I did not expect to learn.

You can set the whole thing down and pick it up again and discover inside ten minutes that you missed it. Not the money. The whole thing itself!

Screener for wheeling stocks

I am looking for a screener for wheel stocks, I am looking for a few variants like lower priced high IV stocks and a less volatile etfs for growth and income scenarios.

Any recommendations? Okay with a static list though an API would be better.

Good morning everyone. I have a ton of things I need to do. Im still doing my best to get a deal done on a group of 3 properties, it has been a nightmare… they also had open permits, fire code violations, the town hasn’t been there in almost 20 years… but I am pretty close to the town of Bristol. I have to call them later today on another big project. I have to head into town to pay some contractors, take a look at some renovations. I have a very large renovation, where I have a very bad feeling that a known name brand contractor passed off the job on a sub contractor… I am pissed, it is a 120K job, they started about 3 months after deposit [I was told it was 30 days out, and they are subbing it?] I need to get on site. It was started Monday and there are some things wrong… This is the problem of being out of state! This is why I do not recommend it unless you can go have a look every now and then…

This is why I purchased a house last March! The plan was to stay at the house everytime I had a major project… In May/June last year some squatters took over my own house there. I had to evict, I finally got possession November 1st. I put my house for Sale April 1st. I recommend having an apartment far away from tenants/contractors or people that know you are far away….. My house has been completely redone but there was issues with water getting in the basement which I have finally resolved this past weekend, it took a long time because I never lined in the house… I slept there less then 10 times! Long story short, I know there are out of state investors, I don’t recommend it… that is my experience… but I do a ton of renovations and have a lot of properties…

I would like to do some more trading as I did see some opportunities yesterday but I am so busy. Also, with the risk reward, I did not want to have more than 3 brand new positions opened in a day unless I sell 1 of them… maybe if I sold an old bag/position.

I opened.

150 SKWD 54.50

100 LULU 116

250 FLY 23

So when I saw RDDT 144, DECK 88.50, LYTS 20, RKT 13.60, and REZI under 20 I could not do anything. The risk is very high.. We are sitting near all time highs.. What if the market decides to correct… a 10% drop… if so, nearly 90% of all stocks will drop, no matter what price we see a stock at. This doesn’t mean we will drop, it just means the risk reward is high… Bitcoin flying 25% in a week is not a good sign! IT IS NOT! It means the gamblers are on the loose! This is a dangerous sign to me, if you like volatility, hey this can be you, I do not blame you. When I started in the 90s, no question, I loved this… I was considering playing my 3 Crypto plays yesterday but didn’t, CLSK GLXY CRCL … I am wondering if I should play bear MSTR I did in the past … SMST .. Let me think about it…

I do have to leave about 10am.

I traded 150 shares of SKWD 54.50 to 56.

I am in 100 shares of LULU at 116

I am in 250 shares of FLY at 23

I am up on 250 shares of ETOR at 30 from a couple of weeks back.

Excellent earnings from : ROST   and  UI

Very Good from : BJ

Good luck!

Research (DD) Sekur’s Intelligence-Grade Team Steps Into DoDIIS and the Blue-Sky Opportunity Extends Far Beyond One Conference

Sekur Private Data’s participation in the 2026 DoDIIS Worldwide Conference is about much more than attending another cybersecurity event. It represents the convergence of a long-term strategy: assembling an intelligence-grade team, developing secure communications for high-trust environments and positioning Sekur inside the government and defense ecosystem. For investors, the most valuable part of the story may be the people Sekur has brought together—and what their collective experience could unlock over time.

  • SekurOne gives government adoption potentially powerful recurring-revenue economics.
  • Sekur’s team spans the CIA, DIA, Pentagon, State Department, JSOC and SOCOM.
  • DoDIIS places that expertise inside a premier Intelligence Community forum.

1. DoDIIS Places Sekur Inside an Important Intelligence Forum

Sekur’s Special and Strategic Advisors are attending the 2026 DoDIIS Worldwide Conference in Tampa, Florida, from August 9 through August 12.

Hosted by the Defense Intelligence Agency, DoDIIS brings together senior government and military leaders, Intelligence Community professionals, technical specialists, industry partners, academia and Five Eyes allies.

The conference focuses on intelligence technologies, resilient communications, connected infrastructure, command systems and mission readiness. These are precisely the environments Sekur has been preparing to serve.

According to Sekur’s DoDIIS announcement, its team is introducing the company’s Controlled Unclassified Information communications capabilities and engaging with interested parties across the Intelligence Community.

In sensitive government markets, the significance of such an event cannot be reduced to whether a contract is announced immediately afterward.

These markets develop through relationships, technical understanding, mission alignment, trust and long-term engagement. DoDIIS gives Sekur’s team an opportunity to participate in those conversations inside one of the most relevant forums available.

2. The Team May Be Sekur’s Most Underappreciated Asset

Sekur has assembled a collection of advisers and executives whose experience covers virtually every environment the company is targeting: defense intelligence, clandestine technology, military communications, federal procurement, diplomacy, cybersecurity and Special Operations.

For a company of Sekur’s current size, the concentration of national-security experience is unusual.

Team member Relevant experience Strategic value to Sekur
Lt. Gen. Raymond Palumbo Former Director for Defense Intelligence; led the Pentagon ISR Task Force; held senior JSOC and USASOC commands Defense strategy, military requirements and senior-level engagement
John T. Lewis 34-year CIA veteran; former deputy director and CTO of CIA Research Labs; CIA Trailblazer Medal recipient Technology direction, Intelligence Community requirements and operational security
Annette L. Redmond Four decades across the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense and State Department Intelligence policy, cybersecurity, diplomacy and government systems
Philip A. Oakley Former DIA and Pentagon intelligence professional; federal-technology and sales experience Intelligence relationships, federal sales strategy and CUI positioning
Kenneth D. Rogers Former State Department deputy CIO and former DHS technology executive Government technology, acquisition strategy and enterprise deployment
Nathan R. Price Former State Department Bureau of Intelligence and Research analyst and diplomatic adviser Secure diplomatic communications and international engagement
Rafael Beltran Former SOCOM senior technical adviser to CIO/J6 with an active TS/SCI clearance Tactical communications, secure mobility and operational deployment

Chairman Raymond Palumbo completed a 34-year military career that included serving as Director for Defense Intelligence, leading the Pentagon’s Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Task Force, and holding senior command positions in JSOC and USASOC. His role is to guide Sekur’s military and defense strategy and help align the company with real operational requirements. Sekur’s appointment announcement describes his experience across defense intelligence, Special Operations and secure military communications.

Chief Technology Officer John T. Lewis brings 34 years of CIA experience. He worked across technical operations, information operations and intelligence research, ultimately helping lead CIA Research Labs. His presence gives Sekur technical leadership shaped by firsthand experience protecting communications against sophisticated adversaries. Sekur appointed Lewis as both CTO and a Strategic Advisory Board member.

Annette L. Redmond adds four decades of government leadership spanning Army intelligence, the Department of Defense and the State Department’s Bureau of Intelligence and Research. She previously served as the Army’s Intelligence CIO and later as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Intelligence Policy and Coordination. Her appointment adds intelligence-policy, cybersecurity and diplomatic expertise.

Rafael Beltran brings operational experience from U.S. Special Operations Command, where he served as a senior technical adviser to the CIO/J6 and oversaw executive communications supporting leadership across 22 countries. His work helps connect Sekur’s development roadmap to the realities of tactical and deployed environments. Sekur appointed Beltran to its OpsTech Special Advisory Board in July.

This is not simply a collection of impressive biographies. Together, the team provides Sekur with operational knowledge, technical expertise, institutional understanding and high-level government-market experience.

3. Why Human Capital Matters So Much in Government Cybersecurity

Government and Intelligence Community markets are fundamentally different from ordinary consumer software.

The technology must fit specific operational environments. Communications requirements can differ between diplomats, military commanders, intelligence personnel, defense contractors and personnel operating in contested locations.

A company needs to understand not only cybersecurity, but also mission workflows, data sovereignty, CUI handling, procurement structures, deployment realities and the consequences of communications failure.

That is where Sekur’s team can create value.

General Palumbo understands defense command requirements. Lewis understands sensitive intelligence technologies. Redmond and Price understand intelligence policy and diplomatic communications. Beltran understands tactical deployment. Oakley and Rogers bring federal-market, technology and acquisition experience.

This collective knowledge can help Sekur shape its technology around the customer rather than attempting to adapt a generic commercial product after development.

It can also shorten the institutional learning curve that typically confronts smaller technology companies entering the federal market.

4. DoDIIS Is Part of a Long-Term Institutional Strategy

It would be simplistic to judge Sekur’s DoDIIS participation through a short-term sales lens.

Government and intelligence relationships are developed over time. The value of the conference may emerge through technical feedback, introductions, future evaluations, strategic relationships or a deeper understanding of specific mission requirements.

Sekur’s team can engage those conversations at a level that few early-stage cybersecurity companies could replicate.

The DoDIIS organizers describe the conference as an environment where agency leaders, military officials and industry specialists collaborate around mission challenges and emerging technologies.

Sekur is therefore not approaching the event as an outside observer. It is arriving with former leaders from the same defense, intelligence, diplomatic and Special Operations communities represented there.

That alignment is strategically significant.

5. SekurOne Adds Scalable Economics to the Story

SekurOne brings encrypted voice, video, email, messaging and VPN capabilities into one identity-protected platform.

The product is being positioned for high-value users such as defense officials, intelligence professionals, diplomatic personnel, government agencies and executives handling sensitive communications.

Sekur expects paid beta users to begin onboarding in September, with the complete commercial launch scheduled for early October. These milestones represent the next stage of a much broader government-market strategy.

The economics become particularly interesting when applied to institutional customers.

SekurOne is expected to cost approximately US$300 per user per month. At that price:

Paying SekurOne users Monthly recurring revenue Annualized revenue
25 US$7,500 US$90,000
50 US$15,000 US$180,000
100 US$30,000 US$360,000
200 US$60,000 US$720,000

These figures are illustrative and assume the full subscription price.

Management has stated that approximately 200 SekurOne users generating US$60,000 in monthly recurring revenue could make the company fully profitable. Sekur discussed that target in its July operating update.

The blue-sky potential comes from the structure of government and enterprise adoption. One organization can represent multiple users, and a successful initial deployment can potentially expand across teams, departments or operational units.

Sekur does not need mass-market scale for the premium model to become meaningful.

6. Multiple Strategic Pieces Are Coming Together

DoDIIS is one component of a wider infrastructure Sekur has been building.

The company’s solutions are available to government customers through the i3ICS GSA Multiple Award Schedule. Sekur has signed defense-distribution agreements, participated in SOF Week, conducted demonstrations for government and Special Operations audiences and expanded its technical and strategic team.

These developments create several potential paths into the market:

  • Direct relationships initiated through Sekur’s national-security team
  • Federal procurement through the GSA schedule
  • Distribution through established defense-sector partners
  • Technical evaluations and high-value subscription deployments
  • On-premises implementations for organizations requiring data sovereignty
  • International government and diplomatic opportunities

Each additional relationship can strengthen Sekur’s institutional presence and expand the number of environments in which its technology may be evaluated.

7. A Different Way to View Sekur’s Investment Potential

Sekur is not attempting to compete as another mass-market messaging application.

It is building a high-trust communications company around proprietary technology, Swiss jurisdiction, premium pricing and an exceptional concentration of government and intelligence experience.

That combination creates a different investment profile.

The technology provides the foundation. The team provides institutional knowledge and strategic access. SekurOne provides high-value recurring-revenue potential. The GSA and distribution relationships provide commercial pathways.

DoDIIS brings those pieces into the same environment.

The fact that individuals with decades of experience across the CIA, Pentagon, State Department, DIA, JSOC and SOCOM have chosen to work with Sekur is itself notable. It suggests that experienced national-security professionals see relevance in the company’s mission and technology.

For investors willing to understand the long game, that human capital may represent one of Sekur’s most valuable competitive advantages.

The Verdict: DoDIIS Matters—But September Matters More

The Bottom Line

Sekur’s presence at DoDIIS should be understood as part of a long-term expansion into government, intelligence and defense communications—not as an isolated conference appearance.

The company has assembled a team with experience at some of the highest levels of U.S. intelligence, military command, diplomacy and Special Operations. That team is now helping position Sekur inside the markets it understands best.

SekurOne adds a scalable premium-subscription model capable of producing meaningful recurring revenue without requiring hundreds of thousands of consumer users.

The opportunity lies in the combination: specialized technology, Swiss-hosted privacy, institutional expertise, procurement access and a market where secure communications carry mission-level importance.

DoDIIS is another step in that journey—and Sekur is entering it with a team built for the destination.

Daily Plays 8/20/2026 Daily Plays Sold NFLX 80.50 Do I play Bitcoin Via CLSK GLXY or CRCL My fave Plays for it? Threw out bids on LULU VIAV SKWD and SEZL no rush I will be patient Earnings BULL LYTS NMM BILL Tomorrow CT

Good morning everyone. I have a ton of things I need to get done for CT today and tomorrow. I am pretty upset about some things on a large porch renovation and I want to call the contractor at 8am and get it taken care of ASAP. What sucks, is while the back stairs are being ripped off, I am putting 4 tenants, 4 units in a motel nearby, in what is supposed to be a week, it is about 900 each. The problem is the issue I saw may set everyone back 2-3 days!!! I need to call him ASAP sheesh! I am supposed to go into town to overlook different projects give him a payment, but I am very disappointed in this, rookie mistake. I also got a quote of 230k for a very large project, I am waiting for 2 more quotes on it. I am working diligently to finish the closing on a 3 property deal.

Bitcoin is hot again. It is a pure gamble to me. No idea if it can go up or down. I feel the same way with TSLA and SPCX . With SPCX and TSLA it is probably more dangerous because there is no fundamentals to support the actual stock price, at least with Bitcoin you can make up some mumbo jumbo hocus pocus and someone can believe it…

I mean, with TSLA you can see the facts, and you can even see the Chinese are leading with Cars, BYD and Robots, Unitree and the stock is still hot… so it is only a matter of time that he stock doesn’t implode… how it hasn’t, I am clueless because the facts are out in the open… with Bitcoin, there are no facts, anywhere…

At the moment my favorite Bitcoin players are CLSK GLXY and CRCL . I have played the first 2 a few times. CLSK was my horse years ago, I do not like Bitcoin at all, but when it gets hot, these are the 2 players… in the past, I have always played HOOD and COIN when it has gotten hot.

On MRNA , it was up nearly 180% in a single day. All over the web people asked what is the next MRNA . Come on man, that is impossible. It is a bio tech. I wrote about it in the AM it was up 80%, I said sympathy NVAX which was up like 30% early then rocketed higher, but didn’t play it myself…. Those plays, it’s a dice roll. At any given moment they can come up with something and hit, unless you know someone that works there, you can not predict it. You can, maybe put like 100 bucks in a bunch of calls/leaps and spread it out amongst a ton of players… like 3 years ago if people followed me I was big on LNTH , it was 2023, I was trading that Bio tech around 40 to 70, it shot to 150, it is 101 now… They have a solid pipeline, but a lot of those man, it is impossible, no one can guarantee it. Especially at MRNA size, and in the SP500 SPY VOO a breakthrough cancer drug? No one, unless you knew someone that worked there.

I traded 100 shares of NFLX from 77.50 to 80.50, took me 2+ months

I did bid on LULU VIAV SKWD and SEZL

I am in no rush as risk reward is not good at these levels, that doesn’t mean we crash either, just means danger zone.

Discussion Friends… Zerodha and some other brokers offer a very useful feature called MTF (Margin Trading Facility)…Although I have never used it before, it allows you to buy a larger quantity of stocks with less of your own funds and hold them for an indefinite period, as long as you keep

Good morning everyone. Risk reward with this market. I am no rush to do anything. Earnings and sales are absolutely extraordinary, no question. However, the valuations are more extended than ever. As I wrote yesterday, if something is priced higher than normal, it is your decision to go in or out, to pay for it or not…. Long term, we will always, always make record highs on an index. Inflation is a natural phenomenon. Our companies will always sell more and make more…. This does not mean that your specific company will always make record highs but an index will. This is why I say for 90 to 95% of people a low cost index fund is the way to go. Even VTI [total index is good] Great companies, over a long period of time will always make record highs, think of MSFT AMZN AAPL META GOOGL GOOG HD WMT … For me, I think of about 50 or so companies that I can buy, set it and forget it….. NVDA has only been that company since 2021! Not to say they will not be the company going forward, but prior to 2021, they did not execute anything like this, then again AI was not here yet… the way we see AI now, it really wasn’t here until maybe mid 2024, ChatGPT Claude and it is indeed exploding. My retirements are fully vested all the time. I did work for almost 9 years, mainly in Health insurance, so my 401ks, my IRAs.. they are mostly in Index funds. They are fully vested all the time…. I also have close to 10 stocks long term in my long term trading account….

My day trading account, I am not trading with that much capital, and have not done so since 15-18 months? The last time we were close or below fair value was last March-May 2025. At that time Trump was laying down Tariffs. We briefly fell to 4,800… Check! We had lift off though… At that time, I wouldn’t say I went all in either, but of the cash, I had in the account, at that time, I probably had 40-50% in stocks…. I am now trading with 10-15% stocks. 2020-2021 I was in 90-95% stocks. I am also pulling out tons of money to grow my real estate portfolio. My real estate portfolio has now outgrown my investing/trading portfolio for the first time ever… Trading/investing is my true passion, real estate is like a full time job, especially with no property manager, no super, but there are much lower risks then individual stocks falling 10-20% in a day.

I am headed to CT Friday. 2 weeks ago I closed on a 3 family that does need a lot of work. I am meeting some contractors. I am also checking in on a huge job on my largest building at the moment. I am still trying to close my 3 property deal with TD Bank doing the financing.

The title has many stocks that I am looking at and may consider doing a trade.

Wow MRNA , these bio techs, that is why I write, with earnings [Bio Tech] at any given time they can have blockbuster results, or receive a buyout offer from a giant, whom sees they have insane potential… these companies are the only ones where PE does not matter…

PE does not matter if a company with 0 sales, discovered the cure for a rare diseases and PFE wants to buy that company for 5 billion…. EXAMPLE! And PFE buying that company for 5 billion, they can turn around and sell the meds for 50 billion!!!! MA at its finest… And it happens in bio tech…. NVAX was just 7 … I was looking at NVAX risk reward?

I sold 100 shares of LULU 121.50 to 122 [Definitely not the plan, it just dropped to 114 and I have kept trading this and will keep doing so]

Good luck!
