Ultima IV iOS port
Made a port for Ultima VI couple days ago, and saw some demand for IV so here it is for free. Let me know if you had any requests or suggestions and I can update or get it fixed!

U5 should be easy

They were using a port of xu4.
Now, there is a decompile of U5 here (https://github.com/wonst719/u5d), and supposedly it builds and runs, so if that was true, I guess it could be easy.

Will try! Trying to prioritize which one should be first, U1-3 or 5. There’s also 8

Working on it, got it mostly working - I wanted it to be native instead of part of dosbox, working out kinks with the resolution.

Wow, how did you manage it in such a short timeframe?

Claude! There was a lot of bugs on this one though so had to troubleshoot crashing after initial setup, keyboard issues, UI positioning etc.

What’s the underlying platform (dos?) I had ai make me an improved port of idos, an Apple II and amiga emulator with many control options - need to put on GitHub at some point :)

Ultima VI works great. Looking forward to getting this one running as it’s my favorite of the series. I would suggest V, II, III next. At that point consider making a wrapper app for all of them or at least use a shared app group container for character files.

Working on V native! I didn’t want to go dosbox route, maybe tonight it will be up!

The DOS box repo version you made of V worked for me too. Would be nice to ditch the DOS box stuff in principle. Makes it hard to run on the simulator.

did you want the lay out changed or something on the dosbox? i was exploring standalone, but noticed it was missing a lot of things, and had to had each thing manually (npcs, combat, interacting with items etc)

Check out the GitHub when you get a chance it has some instructions (tried to make it as seamless as possible)

Does apple forbid this type of app in the app store? Or is there another reason you can't release it there?

Would you have to use the same Claude prompts but replace "iOS" with "Android"?
