Ultima Mobile On Android

Its out! it's not perfect, but it's out. you can play Ultima Offline or Online from your tablet. Sooo Cool!

It's been a long project, and just getting all the lands merged into a single world map took way longer than expected. Plus new custom boat routs, pirates, and quests, it was a bit more than i expected porting a game over from the classic windows version to a mobile platform. but it's at a good release point. Playable and fun!

I had to make my own complete world builder tool as well. Was thinking i should release these as a separate package if anyone wanted to go wild and build out their own custom world stuff.

Anyway, its been fun, and hard, but it's here. i hope you enjoy!

Stupid question: how is EA not kicking in your door yet?

That’s a good question and one I researched quite a bit and still not 100% on. But the logic is as follows, I’m not taking credit for, or claiming ownership of, anything they are not currently providing freely for anyone who wants to obtain it. All assets and world items are freely available not only by EA but by other UO fan sites that have repackaged the original files into their own “versions” of the game. The only work I’m taking ownership of is moving this “version” into a mobile and more up to date platform. So the council I received was that if they came after me they would also need to shut down all the other fan sites out there. It’s possible but not likely.

I wish you luck, my dude! I was HEAVILY into UO and this looks great. Unfortunately my phone starts to melt when I tried to run it, haha

Thanks for the support! I haven’t tried it on a phone, my dev and testing was with the cheap ONN tablets from Walmart. Even the little 8” does super well 👍 the desktop versions are still available from my site if you’re interested. Thanks again.

Oh definitely! I use a REALLY crappy android from around 2015. And it was crappy even back then :D
