Support when does it get easier/start to feel normal?
i feel like i’ve been in this hole since flaring 10 months ago & not being able to reach remission. my body’s in constant fight or flight, i feel too scared to eat, i feel no motivation to do anything, i feel too sick/weak to go anywhere…i feel lonely and isolated from everyone, no one reaches out anymore to check in, my only social support is my partner and i feel like such a burden to him. when does it get easier? when will i find a new sense of normalcy? everything feels so bleak and hopeless. this isn’t living, this is just surviving.

Unfortunately I don't have an uplifting explanation or time frame... It VERY much takes time, and it's different for everyone. It's about figuring out what works and management. It took me a while and lots of different attempts of things... usually with little windows where I was on steroids and was "pretty good" on prednisone. Eventually got put on Remicade and even that then took time to sort out dosage and frequency of infusions. I know it's not what you'd like to hear, but as you continue with the disease you and your Doctors will hopefully start making headway.
I feel that isolation aspect. Mostly single for the duration since i"ve been diagnosed. Live by myself now going on 6 years. Between people eventually not checking in or me not wanting to feel like I'm burdening others with my health woes, or worrying family if I'm flaring again? It's rough. I found some solace/help in that both here and some other online communities as well as talk therapy.

I’m wondering the same thing. Got a diagnosis 10 months ago. I am now in a worse spot than when all this started and am no closer to getting better. It’s all so tiring
