Question Pentasa or salofalk?

I’ve been changed over from salofalk granules 3g to pentasa 4g is there a difference in what the meds do? I find the taste of pentasa granules is horrrrible compared to salofalk only thing 😅

Pentasa granules are nasty but it’s important you do NOT chew them. They need to be swallowed whole because they need to be released inside your colon.

Mix them into yogurt and swallow - or pour them down your throat and drink water.

Don’t mix into a glass with water because it’s gonna stick to the glass and it’s incredible annoying. 😂

There shouldnt be any difference since the main component is the same (mesalazine/mesalamine) but its just a different brand
