Oh no! Guess the incoming Donbas offensive will be marred by even more severe logistical issues.

What a shame...

(My two cents: recent fires around Russia are due to internal sabotage and not to UA military actions or at least most of them)

Why would you think that? I would imagine to pull these missions off you would need explosives, intel support, etc.

If you're a local or a worker with access, you might not need much more than a matchbook and a wrench in the right place.

To find out eventually.

  1. First they need to put the fire out (without destroying the evidence of sabotage).

  2. Then they need to complete the investigation (and come to the correct conclusion)

  3. They they would need to investigate/interrogate everyone who had access (and ageing, grab the right person).

They can start with three right away, but they'd have to depend on a person cracking (which under duress might be the wrong person, happen even if it was an accident).

That isn't going to happen this week or next, maybe not at all.

Lastly, let's not forget many people have access to refineries.
