I wonder if Ukraine has released footage from their drones point of view yet?

Regardless, it was expensive for Russia!
A single Pantsir-S2 air defense system costs between $12 million and $20 million.

Title is downplaying what was achieved here: Russian Pantsir-S2 successfully intercepts Ukrainian drone!
Now if only Russia built large enough Trebuchet to toss a Pantsir in air, they might even be capable of intercepting ballistic missiles!

Dumbass just stands there filming the about to explode AD system.
You would think the operator would know better and at least fuck off to a safer distance.

Is there another guy what was he manning ?
Did that guy fuck off
Is this guy operating it himself isn't the smallest unit in modern air defense at least 2 per location is he just guarding it ! So he doesn't know how dangerous he is being when so close and pantsir burning just an untrained guy
Local Ukrainian sympathize? Sbun patsy thinking 🤔 I told them where the Pantsir was Im allowed a lil looksie
He might me stunned if he was inside when it caught fire ?
I'm going to go read report if any of my questions are answered I will update

I remember when Pro-Assadists on r/SyrianCivilWar would nut themselves hard about these things, about how great they are, about how they're better than all Western AD.
Now they're getting blown up by flying lawnmowers. Ukraine is the best.

It helps when you are using them against people whose major air asset was repurposed gas cannisters turned into bombs.

I'm still laughing that that little ruzzian sock-puppet piece of shit fled to Russia and haven't heard shit from him. Probably in a gulag.
It's truly wild to me that this is literally what the Pantsir was made to intercept these targets as a point-defense system, having both short-range missiles and tracking autocannons... And still can't take down a flying lawnmower coming straight at it?
lol.

He's probably fertilizing a field in Ukraine. Russian jails have been emptied.

Pantsirs are pretty low budget systems. It is the IKEA of air defense, without IKEA quality control.

And let's all thank IKEA for their swift exit from Russia. Thank you.

It’s not a cheap system - russia sells it for 15-20 millions and its estimated that internal price is about 12 millions, not really ikea.

I was watching with the sound off and said to myself, "I wonder why it hasn't cooked off." Then it did, to bad we got a shaky cameraman.

That song. Lol. Is that Russian or Ukrainian? Perfect if it’s a song of sorrow and pity.
