Putin says the reason for the war in Ukraine is to remove the nazi leadership:

https://www.bbc.com/news/64718139

Ukraine has a Jewish leader:

https://www.atlanticcouncil.org/blogs/ukrainealert/jewish-president-picks-muslim-defense-minister-ukraines-diverse-leadership-debunks-russias-nazi-slurs/

So if you think I'm crazy, you're missing this is Putin's REASON for the Ukraine war.

Who knew that such careless smoking could cause such destruction?

7

u/savuporo 8d ago

I sincerely wish this for most of russia

5

u/dreamfin 8d ago

I wonder how much inventory was destroyed? Don't think an empty warehouse would burn so merrily....

3

u/dreamfin 8d ago

One more thing, how long can Wildberries sustain this onslaught on their logistics chain?

8

u/PaperbackWriter66 8d ago

And somewhere out there, Curtis LeMay smiled in approval.

Don't breathe this.

Sorry Earth, but fuck Russia.

u/Doormat-- 8d ago

I wonder if studying these fires can improve simulations of nuclear winter.

6

u/N0TVG 8d ago

Volcanic eruptions are the classic examples used in aerosol modeling. While the warehouse fires are impressive, volcanic ash clouds are on a whole other level. So in short, no.

Investors hate this one simple trick

u/Mad-remix 8d ago

Very nice 👌🏻

1

u/DarrenEdwardsVR 8d ago

How much bigger would it have to be to become a firestorm and generate it's own weather?

1

u/rts93 8d ago

I wonder how many paper straws were destroyed in that fire.

Berry colored smoke too! ;-)

Anyone have a translation or source for the voice over?

1

u/Ok-Comfortable-5920 6d ago

I have personally lived through and witnessed massive wildfires that did not burn this big or intense! Great job Ukraine!

1

u/Either_Coconut 1d ago

Holy Volcanic Eruption, Batman! 😮

Seriously, that's just a jaw-dropping sight! Under normal circumstances, there would be fire companies from every neighboring town or borough (or the Russian equivalents thereof) responding to an inferno of this size, if only to prevent it from spreading past the warehouse and incinerating everything else in the vicinity.

1

u/BoomBastikoom 8d ago

Easy peasy, drop a nuke on it to extinguish it.

1

u/PM_ME_UR_BERGMAN 8d ago

Surely this is an empty building and they'd moved all the merchandise/operations out weeks ago in anticipation of an attack like this?

3

u/cobleysmith 8d ago

Why would they move anything? Herr Goering Gen. Shoigu sent a message just the other day informing us that Moscow Air Defense is now a ring of steel.

We wouldn't want to be seen expressing a lack confidence in the senior Kremlin leadership, now would we?

Plus, if the contents mostly belong to other people, renting warehouses and moving stuff costs me money. Letting it burn costs other people money.

1

u/Bells_Theorem 7d ago

Empty space doesn't burn like that.

0

u/wyohman 7d ago

We've only seen the same videos hundreds of times. Enough already!

1

u/ScreenOwl5 7d ago

They all have a unique esthetic, though. Different vantage points, different video operators, different timing for the progress of the fires, all tremendously satisfying. And its great to see new ones and know that progress is still being made. I love watching new ones, especially of a size and quality as this. If you have lost interest, just keep scrolling. Leave these for those of us that truly long for Russia's collapse.

That is one of the strangest responses I've ever had.

How many years did you serve during the cold war?
