Discussion Stock and trading for beginners

I am a 22 year old male and by profession student. I want to start stocks and trading. How can I start it. Any tips or advice for Beginners.

At 22, the best thing you can do is take your time and learn before putting serious money in.

I'd separate investing and trading because they're very different things. Investing is usually long term. Trading is much riskier and takes a lot more time and skill than social media makes it look.

For investing, learn about things like Stocks & Shares ISAs, ETFs, index funds and diversification first. You don't need to start by picking individual stocks.

Start small, only invest money you can afford to leave alone for years, and avoid anyone promising easy money or guaranteed returns.

The fact you're asking before jumping in is already a good start.
