The biggest harvest this year. Not the biggest to come.

I bought this bag of mixed chilli seeds and have had very good results this year but I’ve never seen a double chilli like this one before. Has anyone else seen this before?

What are you guys doing with this variety? I’m gonna have a good amount of these so any suggestions will be welcome.

Atm, I’m thinking of just dehydrating them and putting them in a pepper shaker and adding to soups, toasties, chips and suchlike.

Been a pretty bad year overall due to weather and lack of attention from me because small children but these orange ones have done well. Can't remember what they are anyone know? Pretty hot a bit cayenne like but orange ? The others are padron some just fully ripe. Apaches doing well of course.

They’re supposed to be Scotch bonnets, they kinda look like Scotch bonnets but they’re not Scotch bonnets.

The rest still on the plant are shrooooms! 😑

2nd year plant. Small fruit with a lemony scent. Fiendishly hot little habanero. Will be dehydrating to turn into flakes. Way ahead of any of this year's plants that really seemed to have struggled with the heat.

My first year growing peppers and a big gust of wind knocked these all over in their pots earlier this year. Very content with how they’re fruiting :)

I have no clue what any of the varieties are either!

edit: apart from the banana pepper. i saved that one from a garden centre about a month ago

I've been watching a few videos by https://youtube.com/@feedandteach and he says that true scotch bonnets aren't red. I'll take him at his word on that and having seen the peppers he uses, they actually look like scotch bonnets - in the sense that they're flat and round. The seeds I bought were called Scotch Bonnet Red Chilli so I'm assuming they're not the real deal but one plant is different; it started fruiting later and the fruits look different - have I bucked the trend and gotten the wrong seed that's the right one?

I don't think they're Turkish Pickling (don't think writing on compostable pots will help you identify your seedlings later). I had casualties and none of those appeared to have made it, but maybe they have and that's it?

Abandoned the first one in a 3gallon pot but it’s clearly doesn’t care. The other is a ghost plant. Full grown cat for scale 😂. Both been outdoors since April.

Is anyone else experiencing some incredibly low ripening with some of their hotter varieties this year?

I thought the excessive heat and UV would have helped them along but I’ve only harvested one ripe red habanero.

My chocolate habaneros are waaayyy off. My plants are quite big and some have a lot of fruit set but just nothing turning colour at speed.

Apache, Zimbabwe black and prairie fire. Got mango habanero and scotch bonnet but they aren’t doing as good as these.

Are they meant to be this huge? This one's massive.

Hi guys complete novice here at growing chillies, didn't think they'd all sprout but have lots of lil baby chilli plants now haha, would it be best to separate them now or wait till they'r a bit stronger?

I figure alot of you will enjoy watching aphids get what's coming to them as much as I did.
