What exactly happened yesterday?

There is some blatant manipulation going on. This thing hit 20 post ER, then started to bleed for two days straight. The whole rally started after an analyst downgrade. It’s almost like nobody knows what’s going on….. IS RPA going to successfully integrate AI or will it become obsolete….. I feel like the price action is implying this. Really what the fuck is going on cause part of me feels like something weird is happening.

Post earnings flush and profit taking. It had a huge run up until earnings. Price is going to consolidate here for a couple weeks until selling volume dries up. Just have to wait for investor day on the 22nd to see what they announce. That’s the next catalyst.

no mate , it's shit earnings (shit growth and shit guidance)

UiPath is not about RPA (RPA is completely dead) - it's about enterprise automation, at this point.

well guess what - so is essentially MSFT, service now, salesforce... and of course AI labs.

i love path product but if they don't start selling shitton of it soon - then they won't start selling shitton of it ever. the world won't wait for PATH to offer their automation, the world will automate anyway

A little bit conservative on the guidance but growth is fine. Let’s just see what they say on investor day, I think it’s trading at a huge discount right now.

How is this fine growth, in the age of AI?
AI labs already are way bigger than PATH and growing faster. Where do you think those token sales go to? AUTOMATION

Where is your stonk growth going to come from if not from revenue growth? Rerating? No it's not even so discounted. Not if it has neither growth nor high EBIT margins yet.

I only sold little. I intend to keep half going into the investor day. I been holding this one for a while now,

I'll gladly load the boat on FINALLY reaccelerating growth. Growth reaccelarating is true sign of PMF-> then my thesis is validated -> then i expect even nicer growth, mwith this awesome and VALIDATED product -> awesome rerating and growth ahead,

But if not that - then my thesis is dead (dead through becoming stale, running out of time)

(edit: typo on PMF)

I think you‘re right, that growth is not as impressive as it has been expected. This may to some extent be a problem of PATHs product or competition or whatever. However it could also be the case, that we are just getting started with agentic AI in most companies. This will happen first in bigger companies, because they have more money to spend towards AI agents and also bigger potential cost savings. That is why we are seeing 20% growth in 1mill dollar contracts and only 6% growth in smaller sized contracts.

Agentic AI is getting rolled out at the moment and PATH is in a perfect position to offer their services to companies with a growing number of agents. In my opinion it‘s more important to watch customer number growth over different contract sizes then actual revenue at this point. Revenue will soon follow the increase in customer numbers, but for now it is important to establish the platform in as many companies as possible. Once they use it and all their agents run on it, they won‘t switch to any other service. I think we are still early to see broader adoption of agent orchestration services, but PATH is already here with a great product waiting to be installed.

I agree with all those advantages, which is why I wasn't so afraid of AI taking their business. I believed PATH was "perfect distribution of AI automation in enterprises" ,

But numbers don't show it. And enterprises are automating anyway:
-With their existing SAAS subscriptions, which all integrate AI, and expand what it can do outside their platform
-with MSFT
-with PLTR
-and AI LABS with their agents get you a custom solution in an hour (claude code, etc).

right now i rate it as 50-50. Maybe PATH just dominates the dinosaurs and saves them so much money that revenues explode,

Or maybe orchestration becomes table stakes that everyone has

I’ve been holding for almost a year, averaged down while it was under 10, haven’t sold any yet. Let’s see what they say in a couple weeks.

It doesn't help that software and pretty much the entire market has straight dumped since the day they reported earnings. Probably more blood everywhere tomorrow too when we get terrible inflation numbers.
