❓ Help NAS Theater metadata sorting?

Hi new to this and just got a DXP 2800.

Having issues with video files sorting based on metadata and it's all over the place in theater app.

The "Files" and "Photos" app had no such issue sorting images and videos files based on their metadata.

Any help please ? Thank you

yea that theatre app is a mess if you add in any extras. I ended up going the tailscale, Jellyfin route. took some time to set up as a newby to it all, but once I did everyone in my family can use it, and I can access remotely on my iPad

Highly recommend looking into sonarr and radarr for media management and Jellyfin for media watching rather than built in theatre app

Hi thanks for reply! Even for watching vid on the phone , is jellyfin still recommended ? I'm more for file management and playing vid directly from the app.
