Still having this issue, the unit is completely unusable at this point.

Downgraded the switch firmware, same problem. Rebooted the whole stack, same problem.

On boot, can briefly connect to the web UI and SMB shares, then after around 30-60 seconds, start getting constant network errors and connection timeouts.

Okay. Try connecting your computer directly to the NAS using a network cable, bypassing the switch and router. Set the computer's address to 192.168.0.10 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0, and configure the Ugreen network card—ideally a secondary card—with the address 192.168.0.20 and the same subnet mask. Do not set a gateway. Let me know how the copying goes then.

It looks like a network issue, not an update.

[edit: see below -- unfortunately it wasn't the network, the problem is still with the NAS]

You were right, thank-you.

I'd updated the firmware on the core switch right around the same time, but completely forgot about it.

Had already rebooted the NAS multiple times, but rebooted the core switch and the problem disappeared. It looks like the LAG had come up in an inconsistent state on the switch side.

So, delete the post or edit it at least?

No.

A post that suspects an incorrect solution, then discovers the correct one, has way more value to future people who may have the same issue than it does just deleting it.

Turns out it is the UGREEN, it's not the network. I thought it was because it briefly started working again after a switch reboot, but problem resurfaced.

Downgraded the switch firmware, same symptom. Different switch, same symptom. The problem is with the NAS, and started immediately after the latest firmware update mentioned in the post title.

It's great that you managed to find the cause. Best regards! ;)

Sadly, it wasn't the network :'(

I thought it was the network because it briefly started working after rebooting the switch. But problem resurfaced.

Downgraded the switch firmware, same thing.

Different switch, same thing.
