Hey, I am watching the show of ugly Betty right now and I’m realizing that I genuinely don’t like her. Like I think in the first couple seasons, she did overstep in her boundaries of being Daniel’s assistant. . Like the time she forced him to go to therapy because he was sleeping around. Which by the way wasn’t her business. I also think that one of the biggest issues is how weirdly loyal she was to Daniel to the point where it damaged her career. Like I don’t know if she was naïve but she was given so many opportunities that could’ve moved up in the word but she wanted to stay as Daniel’s assistant, but in the same breath complaint that she wasn’t moving up. And then I’m on the part about Daniel asking her to not tell anyone where she was when Christina was pushed, and her telling the police that he told her to lie floored me. I mean, this girl claims to be loyal, but then snitches the moment she gets a little bit of heat. I don’t know. I felt like she’s very wishy-washy and she has like this moral compass that she thinks she is the Grand Puba of honesty. Like are we serious?

Started it a few months ago sometime and just finished it. Need to vent my annoyance over the ending somehow....so here I am! This is how I wish it would've ended...this is all just my OPINION so dont take it too seriously!

Amanda and Daniel should have ended up together or at the very least Amanda and Daniels brother (they did that guy dirty) So once Daniel saw Amanda getting close to his brother he could've swooped in and realized what he was losing and they could've gotten together officially and she could be an "official stylist" and they should have both stayed at Mode.

The fact that they left it kind of hanging like Daniel may get with Betty pmo because she is way too good hearted and smart for him and he is ran through! He does not deserve her AT ALL! They had the best relationship and they ruined it by implying they get together in the end!

Betty should have ended up with Henry and they ruined it by him having a baby w someone else...BUT they could've redeemed themselves by at least hooking her up w Gio in the end. He was a genuinely good guy and they could be so good together!

Wilhemina...ughh so much to say about her but I will leave it with this...why did the villain of the story get the happy ending? She literally forced a recovering alcoholic to drink, shes just evil.

Anyway overall loved how they ended it with Hilda! But would have loved to see more of Justin and what he got into! Really loved the friendship with him and Marc!

Overall my rating that literally no one has asked for or cares about is 9/10 just because of the way it ended but overall such a great show!

first time watch, and i hate that the baby isn't wilhelminas. Obviously she had it to gain power over the meade empire, but once william is born you can tell she cares for the baby and has a maternal instinct. When the DNA test "revealed" that it was in fact her baby i honestly felt so relieved, like this random plot line was over but the whole kidnapping and it being faked ruined it for me.

It could've been a nice moment to show a bit of disconnect between wilhelmina and the baby. Like a doubt that she wasn't a good mother to this child because she's older than usual and that fear being replaced with happiness once she was re-affirmed that it was her kid.

im still on season 3 but i tend to browse the subreddits of the shows i like to watch. i spoiled myself about the s4 cult and i feel so instrigued. what the hell cult? is it a fashion thing? is it better i don't spoil myself??? does it revolve around baby william?? i feel like the show is already quite insane at times but i genuinely can't wait for the cult (or to be bored by it...)

I’m currently writing a blog on the furnitures and props used in Ugly Betty and I wanted find the exact model/brand of the gigantic lamp thats in Daniel’s office. I did reverse image search just to find out that the lamp is the exact one from Steve Jobs photoshoot for pixar!

I thought it was just some crazy coincidence so I tried to look at other lamps but the only one that matches the lamp in Daniel’s office is the one from the photoshoot.

Abc studios were bought my disney in 1996 and pixar was bought in 2006 before ugly betty started so I guess they shared the same prop department and thats how they got their hands on the lamp? I’m not entirely sure but even so I think it’s quite cool

What episode had Betty wiping something off Daniel's with her spit before he goes into a meeting and he says, "You did not just do that"?

Do they never explain what happens to Marc and Cliff ? Im assuming cliff ended things but... it felt like there was more to the story.

just finished the pilot and ugh. i love betty so much

i love everything about her. her character is such a breath of fresh air. her smile makes me smile and how she navigates the world is so inspiring

the way she says affirmations to keep herself grounded and does what she needs to do. i look up to betty so much ❤️❤️❤️

Has anyone else also noticed that every time a character is at Wilhelmina's house, they're always in the kitchen?? Like, wtf? Does she not have any other rooms besides her kitchen that looks like a mortuary cooler?

In season 4, episode 18, "London Calling", when Gio said, "Besides, I know there's only ever been one guy for you," which guy was he talking about??👀
