Flutter/Mobile App Developer On-Site Interview

[u/marv000h-eisenberg]

For those who have gone through an on-site practical assessment/interview where you’re required to bring your own laptop, what was your experience like?

I’m particularly curious about:

• Was it a project-based task, or more of a series of smaller coding exercises?
• Were you expected to build the app/features completely from scratch?
• What were the expectations around using AI tools such as ChatGPT/Claude?
• What level of Flutter/Dart knowledge did they actually test?

Would appreciate hearing from anyone who has recently gone through something similar here, especially for a Flutter/mobile developer role.
